The quality behind each and every one of your videos is such a given, I had never even considered you might just be cashing a check. The brand youve built is very strong, and i am a big fan.
I would love to see more baldur’s gate videos. The teo episodes you’ve put out so far had great reception and your way of tackling the game is super enjoyable to watch.
When is your next BG3 walkthrough episode coming? Loved the series, and love max difficulty 100% walkthroughs in general, which are a rarity. KOTOR is definitely a type of game I can see you playing. A semi open world game which can be 100% completed within a proper timespan, like Mass Effect series.
You talk about the challenges you face through this video. But your explanations for WHY You made your choices and the values you hold are all positives. A breath of fresh air to hear someone hold to their conviction and ethics. Also you let me play games I could not play myself. I fully cannot play XCOM, Rimworld, or Mass Effect. But I get to enjoy the gameplay through your videos. Same with other creators playing Oxygen Not included. and Chuggaconroy playing 100% playthroughs of other titles I could not get my hands on or could not grasp the mechanics of. Even if I am just one view on the counter. You still give many an entire episode worth of joy and entertainment on each episode your make.
Midnight Suns. Can get almost all achievements in one run. Can min/max as much as you'd like. Turn based ability combat similar to XCom. Easily split into episodic content using ingame days.
I'd love a dip into BG3 every now and again. I know they're a bit more involved than other videos, but with your polish on them - as well as your expertise - they're incredibly interesting. One every couple months could make for a nice treat on top of whatever else you're doing.
This is what I would like to see right now too. Every one or two months we get Baldur's Gate. It's so complicated that I wouldn't feel right putting all the pressure of a full series on it on Pete, but every once in a while would be cool.
I would suggest three series to follow up after the end if XCom 2, if I may. Phoenix Point, Phantom Doctrine or why not, a Capes full series. A full BG3 series would be awesome. I'm very eager to see what's next for Sylvia and the crew. Anyway, love your channel. Stay safe and keep up the good work.
I feel a project zomboid run would be a lot of fun to experience through your creative process. So much story potential as we follow a survivor through the zombie apocalypse. I know I would watch the crap out of that
I’m sure that Baldur’s Gate episodes require a lot of preparation and production time, so I can understand any hesitation to make it a series. The first two episodes you made were the best I’ve seen on the game, and I hope your viewers support a full playthrough.
I'd really love to see more Capes. I really enjoy the more analytic side of your videos which makes your xcom series so much fun to watch. The duo interactions in Capes feels like it's got a lot of room for tactical decisions that suit your videos well
Honestly, i would love to see a Wasteland 2 playthrough. I really enjoyed the game myself, and it has pretty much everything the community here enjoys. A tactical shooter with exploration, resource management, rpg elements and a good story with some hard moral choises
Thanks for the insight of the sponsorship process and your perspective on it! Definitely love the idea of a Skyrim play through, I think that would be really cool to see from you. I would also REALLY love to see you keep going with the Baldur's Gate 3 series, even if it means you only put out videos once a moth (or less). Great videos, thanks for making them!
UnderRail. I didn't finish it because I ran out of patience in waiting for the stores to buy all my junk, but I think it's interesting enough to watch a playthrough of.
Pete, you are a continuous breath of fresh air in the creator space. I know your channel growth is slow, but I see it as much more sustainable and committed, just like the vlogbrothers. I for one watch almost every single video that you put out to completion. The quality and effort you put into your work is not just evident in the things you create, but it's inspiring, too. You make me want to strive for this type of quality in my work as well, and for that, and so many more things, I thank you. I know you're just creating content for a gaming channel on youtube, but seeing people stand up for their principles, especially in the face of possibilities to sell out and take the easy way like countless others, is simply inspiring. In your own way, I think you are making the world a better place. So again, thank you so much and I look forward to continuing this journey with you for hopefully a long time, whatever exact shape it takes
Hi pete. Absolutely have loved all of your content right from the very first rimworld series. I wonder if you would consider taking a look at a game called Wildermyth. Keep in mind I heard everything you said on your Channel about research and picking games and making sure that you have content which fits your play style and fan base. Keeping that in mind that's why I suggest this particular game, as I think it might do well as both something familiar, and something with a few new mechanics not seen on your channel yet. It's format is also very friendly to the episodic nature of your content. I don't expect you to listen to me but it is potentially an idea if you're interested. Thank you for listening, looking forward to whatever new series you decide on. Cheers!
Battlestar Galactica: Deadlock would probably make a fun and interesting series with a unique twist on turn based strategy. The rimworld videos on in particular have been one of the few pleasures that I have.
Hey, Pete! I Just had to comment on the amazing quality of your videos! The way you script, narrate, and edit everything is so polished and engaging. It's inspiring to see a creator who prioritizes giving their viewers the best possible content. You're a breath of fresh air compared to all those channels that just record gameplay without any thought to presentation. Thanks for being awesome!
I don't usually care for superheroes but I very much enjoyed the Capes video. I like the visual style and I'm intrigued by the premise. Apart from that all the games you mentioned sound like great choices for the PC treatment, I would watch any of them. Glad to hear all is well with you and you had a fantastic holiday.
I would like to see an Xcom chimera squad playthrough personally, but also would enjoy seeing what you have to offer on other games especially what you would like to play yourself.
I love the power of story telling in your community. All the work and ideas around rimworld with fanart, music e.g. Would be awesome to find another game besides rimworld that has the same potential.
The baldur's gate content has been amazing so far, but I know that it is hard production wise. That being said I think baldur's gate is certainly an avenue to keep open. Also the mention of a skyrim playthrough made my really want to see how pete tackles such a large yet classic game. Keep it up pete, your walkthroughs are by far the best and most professional on the whole platform
I'd love to see BG3 become at least a monthly series or even every other month, considering the production time. I've never seen much of KOTOR on RU-vid so I'd love to see that become a series too.
I know that the BG3 videos are a bit more in depth and complicated to produce but I'd love to see it more. Outside of that I'd love to see a Knight of the Old Republic play through.
Seconding anyone who’s suggested Phoenix Point for a play through! There’s some optimized builds you’d have a ball with on top of the random recruitment stats that still make you diversify overall!
For a shorter series, I'd be very curious to see your take on Wildermyth. I feel like the narrative aspect would play very well with the Naming Rights Tier :) And for a longer series I'd definitely vote for Baldur's Gate
I think after the end of xcom2 series, you should play an old, fairly short game, with fun completionist task. Just a change of pace for these current longer series. I'm suggesting 'Untitled Goose Game' or the other South Park game. Capes looks promising too. I just hope that that game poses enough challenge for you. But you do you, we know whatever series you decided to play will be of quality value regardless. You are a professional after all. Hehe
An Alpha Protocol playthrough would be so fun! I feel like that game's in a weird spot where any time it gets brought up people praise it, but it only gets brought up like...once every 3 years.
Your consistency, insistency and determination of maintaining a high standard of quality no matter how tough things may get, is something I look forward to each time a new video comes up. Your explanation and choices made behind the scenes, further reinforces the brand you have developed over the years. I got into RImWorld because of finding your Ice Sheet challenge, and it has lead me down the path of modding for the game, mainly EPOE-Forked and a alien race mod. Did not expect to enjoy modding more than actually playing a game these days, and inspired to keep up with a standard of quality from watching your videos.
I hope you keep getting good sponsorship offers and that the videos they result in find success. Also, really hyped for more BG3! But I imagine crafting a completionist run for that is quite the challenge.
Terminator Dark Fate Defiance. It's a real time tactics game (no base building) with a great campaign that plays like how we all imagined a Terminator RTS would and I think it'd fit right in on the channel. They plan to release a second campaign where you play as the Machines towards the end of this year too.
I've always loved how you are a man of "complete" integrity (pun intended). Valuing yourself and your viewers I have respect and more for you ;3 Wish you another good half year~♡
Pete, I found your channel while searching for XCOM 1 videos. I have since watched both XCOM series so far and then Capes, leading me to grab Capes' introductory offer. The support on Patreon is a no brainer. I thoroughly enjoyed the package of quality, humorous and honorable gameplay, and it made a few things in my online life much easier. Keep up the good work!
Kotor and Alpha Protocol would be my faves I think. Everything I heard about Alpha Protocol makes it sounds like a hidden gem and seeing your perspective through it would be lovely! I don't really want to see your Baldur's Gate 3 content yet, because I still want to play it myself before watching you, but I get that there definitely seems to be a lot of interest here, so go right ahead of course. I'll catch up in time ;)
i think continuing the bg3 playthrough would be amazing. its just so enjoyable to watch you do what you do, but if u need to go with something a little less intense in the research and prep, kotor is a pretty solid choice.
I would love to see Phoenix point covered by you. It's a game I really enjoy and with all the little details in the back it sounds like a game just made for you... So that's something... But I also see something like a Skyrim walkthrough as an brilliant idea, fantastic to watch in calm moments. Thanks for the great videos keep up the good work ^^
I'd love to see some Chimera Squad, it might not be as good as XCOM 2, but it's still really fun. I'd also be happy to see Capes, it does look like an interesting game.
BG3 feels like promising content Also I would suggest darkest dungeon 1, it's hard and can give you a challenge, also 1 dungeon per episode seems good, but it can become repetitive after some time
Love your desiciinmaking and transparency for your veiwers. Also if you need some tips from a native norwegian for your next trip, or for the channel if people want that, im happy to come with some reccomendations (Im originally from Larvik which hosts the Stavern festival where Ed Sheridan just played).
I really enjoyed your Bulder's Gate Videos. But I wonder if a completionist run of this would be too onerous given how dynamic and deep the game is. I for one would still love to see you do a regular play through of BG3
Since I heard that Skyrim is your thing, I always thought that the mod Legacy of the Dragonborn would be a nice addition for a "completist run"... It made me play the game trying to get as many unique as possible.
Oh, I'd love a Fallout series! I never got hooked on playing it myself and experiencing the story through one of your series is a very good alternative for me 😊I can be sure not to have missed anything. (That reminds me to re-watch Sims 3 once again, I think I haven't done that all year 😆)
Hi Pete, big fan, really enjoy your content. Personally I would love to see more of the Baldurs Gate episodes, it's awesome seeing that level of play. Also wondering if you would ever consider a game like Battle Brothers?
As far as new candidates for series go, how do you feel about into the breach? I love watching people play it who have a stronger strategic mind than I do and Im sure you would be no exception, and there are lots of juicy achievements from a completion perspective. Love your channel, keep it up!
Hi Pete! I hope you play Skyrim, preferably with whatever interesting mods you like the most. I don't know how you'd manage "100% completion", but a deep dive on some of your favorite builds, questlines, items, and other interactions would be fun.
I'm down for either BG3 or even Capes after Xcom 2. If I'd put anything unique on the table, I would love to see you tackle Disco Elysium. Maybe not 100% (I don't know if that's even possible without cheats and/or save scumming lol), but I'd definitely watch it
I really would like to see your play through of Miasma Chronicles. I really enjoyed mutant year zero (I've watched it a few times through) and am interested to hear your opinion of MC, and I really would appreciate the amazingly superb high standards you produce. Thanks for all your hard & great work
