Been looking at this for a while, and it's all about who is hungry, this was practice for everyone, and it was obvious Mr. Royster wanted to play at all times. The dude loves drums just a little bit more than the rest Lol no shots fired, he likes to practice nothing wrong with that, Thank you Gospelchops. They are all my drum heroes. I guess Tony is like The Bruce Lee of drums, because there are martial artist and there is Bruce Lee, so there are drummers and there is Tony Royster, Not taking anything away from the other cats, I follow them all.

ANYONE who finds something negative to say about this video is merely trying to hide the fact that they can't do this type of thing. When we shed, we're expressing ourselves on the drums. People that come to videos and say negative things are just upset that their level of talent isn't adequate. Yes, I said it. Go ahead and get upset. The TRUTH still stands. Many people will never reach this level because of the negativity that flows from them. You hinder no one but yourself. Good day.

It's because he's not afraid to learn new chops while people are watching, whereas the rest of them are just wanking off on chops they already know really well. He is a pioneer for drummers IMO

There was a definite difference whenever Tony sat down to play. I know they're ALL good, but buddy, Tony's speed and technique, let alone MUSICAL approach to drumming is what's captivating to me. It's not just hitting any and everything as fast as you possibly can... Everything sounds like it flows together. AND is SUPER fast at times. LOL! And Eric Moore is pretty nasty too!

Why is it when every time gospel drum shed video gets posted on youtube, we have haters who always talk about we only do one thing and it all sounds the same? If ya'll are really that envious of gospel drummer then I suggest you practice a lot more and join us. Please get off our backs about our drumming style. If we like speed and rolls then so what. Let us do what makes us gospel drummers happy and ya'll stay in your own world. In other words, STOP HATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank You.
