Check out "Saturday Night" by James Franco. It was filmed the week John Malkovich hosted a particular episode. It's a 90-minute, behind-the-scenes documentary of how the show is put together from the Monday morning Malkovich arrived with the cast & writers through the end of the live show.

The music director said it was Beyonce inspired? This had Madonna written all over it. The rap when she names SNL characters clearly from Vogue as were the French 18th century costumes. Again from Vogue. The music even sounded like Vogue. Don't get me wrong I love B, but give credit where credit is deserved.

Not a word about Madonna. I saw many references to the Queen of Pop, but her name was not mentioned. Madonna didn't invent the Vogue dance or the ballroom scene, but she was the one who made it international. Without her, all of this would still be underground.
