i used your song in an essay i did at college and i thought it was incredible how the song melted around the video and how you seemed so connected with it. you could really see that it was coming from the heart
I became a fan the minute I heard the song on SYTYCD & have been listening consistently since getting it from iTunes. I wanted to share this with you... I never really listen to the radio because I live in Miami & the radio programming here sucks. A few nights ago I was driving home and happened to have the car radio on. I was about to switch to a CD when the DJ announced the next song. It was "Jar of Hearts"! I was so happy to hear it on the radio. Wishing you great success! You deserve it.
these dancers remind me of xanadu. Probably the best dancing I have ever seen. I think I watched this over a hundred times in slo mo. There are so many details!! awesome. I got the chords and I'm singing along. Would love to dance along too. Well done!!
Christina you are so beautiful. Inside and out. Please never stop writing songs because your voice is amazing and your lyrics speak to everyone. Can't wait until this music video is out and I will reserve a spot in my Favorites for it
The video is perfect! It is somewhat retro; the outfits are almost like something worn to prom, yet a bit tattered for a street look. I love the depth and soul when Christina sings! She tugs at my heart every time with her words!
i think this was PERFECT the mood, the setting, the dance, the lighting. the music wan't off pitch, or sounded strange. it was great. and i really felt her pain. espuacally since thats how my first bf acted
@icarlylvr97 - no she wasn't a contestant. she was an unknown singer and one of the choreographers selected this song to accompany a routine on SYTYCD and it broke her out bigtime. so she's probably thanking SYTYCD by featuring some dancers in the video (I spotted Kathryn and Allison!) and saying she hopes the show will be proud.
Video is out, it is beautiful. I am so happy to get to see the SYTYCD ladies in there dancing. I am a MAJOR SYTYCD fan, Kathryn is one of my favorites ever, and it was totally awesome to see Allison in there too :) Thank you for letting their talent shine in your video, I don't think that anything would have done better justice to your beautiful song.
,,,, is it not refreshing to hear an actual GOOD song rather than most of the crap they play today on the radio !!! I wish her all the best in todays music world. Proof that even with todays radio just playing crap ghetto music, real people can still find QUALITY NEW MUSIC What a voice she has !!! Thumb up me if you agree !!!
I love you. You're so beautiful, talented, unique. Please continue to make such wonderful, heart fealt, emotionally powerful music, because every time I hear this song it make me feel like I was just ran over by a truck of brilliace that is your artistic abilities as a writer, singer, and performer.
i can't wait to see your vid. i want to thank SYTYCD for exposing me to your music. Also i want to thank you & your voice for existing, because you're very very talented.:)
Christina. I first hear this in a fast food place. That I try really hard not to frequent living in Tokyo. I have not been paying attention to modern stuff for a while and am doing my own music as well. I can say that this video really does work. I think it is a wonderful video. I love the dance aspect coming from a background in dance myself. I love it and I love the music your are doing. Keep on a Rocking!!!
I agree with that heaps. It sounds beautiful. The only reason those 35 people disliked this is because they're jealous. If those people actually listen to the song instead of automatically pressing the dislike button, they might learn something.
I wish more artisits had actual dancing like this video, instead of just taking their clothes off and shaking butts. This shows true artistry and I loved every moment! Absolutely beautiful!
Fantastic! Kathryn (my favorite female ever from SYTYCD) and Allison featured prominently. Now if only Kayla Radomski were added the trifecta would be complete. Love the song and Christina Parri (very classy lady).
