Love the peek behind the scenes but I wish there were more closeups of the details as this is really where the magic is. For example when they’re talking about the tiny brogues, I’d really love to see those up close to appreciate the workmanship, and also to leave shots like that on screen longer so we can really take them in
Resurgence? Aardman has been active in stop motion all the time, what with ads and the shorter films of Shaun the Sheep. Nor has there really been any shortage of stop motion with other studios.
The magic of this claymation films it’s the journey back to an adult’s childhood. Warm feelings of happiness all over our souls. Thank you for sharing your marvelous gift with the world.
I just hope that none of the prominent chickens from the first film ― Ginger, Rocky, Babs, Bunty, Mac, and Fowler ― or Molly die in this film. At least involuntarily. Since I feel like that would partially undo the outcome of the first film. A voluntary sacrifice would be fine. I remember criticising anyone that believed that Mrs. Tweedy was fatally crushed by the door that Mr. Tweedy pushed onto her. And it turns out I had every reason to do so. 🥚🐣 🐔🐓
Great to see it back. There are a few issues for me. One, the voice changes and two, the fact they just flipped the storyline. I mean, come on, the chickens wanted to break out. Now they’re breaking in?!?
Some people who voiced characters in the first Chicken Run movie passed away before the sequel came out and I thought people who are making the sequel were being mean to the people who passed away before the sequel came out. Because those people who died can’t see or know about that movie at all.
