It's still unbelievable that we got Ishin globally and now we are getting full marketing videos subbed. I'm so glad RGG games slowly getting the attention they deserve.
@@TheMrsomedude456 Well, if you were talking about the voice acting session on the last few minutes, they said it was from chapter 1, so it's not much in terms of context
It is literally so surreal to finally see your favorite niche game studio get the recognition they’ve ALWAYS deserved, I hold this studio and series very dear to my heart so this just makes me incredibly happy
So cool to see how much care is put into voice acting and subtle animations. It's great that Yokoyama takes part in all of that, writers always should be a part of it. It really makes a big difference and definitely shows in the final product.
I'm so happy that RGG is getting the attention it deserves. The Yakuza series is easily the greatest story driven action game period! Kiryu Kazuma is just the epitome of peak writing
I absolutely love the Yakuza series. It's completely rejuvenated my love of gaming after a few years of not really playing much. The mix of the fantastic story and the humour of sidequsts works so well.
It's a bit ironic. Supposedly, Nagoshi left because he saw that he had gained "too much success", having recently been inaugurated Sega's Cheif Director of Art. Maybe he's just an incredibly humble guy? In the end, it's funny to look back on, seeing him do the exact same thing as his creation, Kazuma Kiryu did with the Tojo Clan lmao
So with Biohazard (Resident Evil) there's a guy who played the OG RE4 when he was just a Student and now he's developing it. And same goes here but different.
@Marius Boss sometimes i forget how long some videogame series have been going on for, I'm younger than yakuza 1, cod 1 or fallout 1 too Still sounds crazy though
@@БогданКрименюк to be honest i didnt think i was going to like the game, especially after watching how mad my brother would get dying all the time(didnt know he was playing on the hardest difficulty lol)
This will be fantastic and thank you for translating this for UK fans, as a huge fan of the series (it's my favourite game franchise of all time, thank you for all the memories SEGA and Kiryu-san) it will be really fascinating to get an insight on how the games were made and what goes into making them! Thank you so much for this SEGA :)
RGG has consistently had the best VO quality of any game series, hands down. Now I understand why! Absolutely wonderful insights, I love these videos 🙏
This was great! I really enjoy watching behind the scenes stuff like this so it's great that SEGA is finally letting global and western fans in on it! Now if only you'd consider translating the whole books that have been published on this for the earlier games into English, I'd be in RGG fan heaven!
Thank you so much, SEGA & RGG for making these beautiful games! I only started playing the franchise 5 months ago and have since completed games 1-6 and am playing Ishin now. These games are absolute masterpieces and will and forever hold a very special place in my heart.
Since the day i played Yakuza 0, I have a feeling that this studio is great. now they received the attention and recognition they deserved, well done RGG!!
Congratulations to the whole team for working with such dedication and quality. And please introduce a bike to the game! This would be amazing! Greetings from Brazil!
Keep up the great work can't wait to play the story of how he joins up with ichi in like a dragon 2. Love this studio I now own all of these titles on my ps4 thanks to watch Cohh Carnage RU-vid channel. Just great writing and characters. Can't wait to see more.
I think the music starts from 18:11 is more likely to play in LAD Gaiden. In the Last Long Battle in the Final chapter of the game. The music defines How Determined Kiryu is to Protect Haruka and the Other Kids And How far would he go to protect them. Hope RGG Makes this True.
I love seeing the BTS for the making of the games. How it's done, etc. etc. A bit into the video they said Kasuga is disheartened that rumors about him are spreading so he has to leave Hello Work. I wonder if a bit of the plot of Like a Dragon 8 will be about criminals finding it hard to land jobs because of their background. It could maybe lean into the other plot thread that Daigo and Masaru made a private security company for out of work lower Tojo members after the Tojo and Omi's disbandment.
Yeah, I'd love to check out the other BTS Videos of the Yakuza series. Especially, BTS of Like A Dragon Gaiden. How Unforgivable that RGG Hasn't all Give us any Updates about the Game. That's not only Plain Rude, But It's Unforgivable, too. In my Perspective. They'd BETTER Announce Gaiden's Release Date in this Month Or else I've got no choice but to Barge into their Studio and Beat the Updates out of 'em. Including Yokoyama. Yokoyama is gonna Get his face Smashed, too. I'm sick of WAITING. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!. THEY'D BETTER ANNOUNCE GAIDEN'S RELEASE DATE OR I'M GONNA KICK THEIR ASSES. They're Making me Wait For it SOOOOO LOOOOONG That I Feel like Kicking their Asses.
i wish they also made kenzan and dead souls playable on pc.also maybe they could've included a side mission for the character from kurohyou to the main titles
been playing since y3 on ps3. i def make an effort to get every game on launch. sometimes it takes me a long time to get through them, but the yakuza games are the only good thing in the cesspool that is gaming these days.
Finally Ishin is here what we need; - Yakuza Kenzan Kiwami - Yakuza in Sengoku era as a part of samurai trilogy. For instance,Kiryu may take the role of Mitsuhide Akechi - Yakuza Dead Souls Remaster - Binary Domain Remaster
Lost judgment is the final game of the Judgment series. So, Don't get your hopes up cuz Judgment 3's not gonna come out and RGG's cut ties with Kimura takuya's Johnny and Associates[ Kimura takuya, Yagami's Voice actor JPN Version]
@@nishreem4518 You seem kinda pissed and insistent. You do you. But reminder things aren’t as bad as they seem they have made comments that judgement is still very important to takuya them and they never cut ties. Plus whatever was causing problems with the company are gone in regards to takuya
It's always interesting to see what's behind a game development but, to work around voice actors like that, forcing a perfect vision that you really can't reach since every actor has their own strong points, it's just exausting and gives an overall cold and standard feeling to the game. Personally I think you should work the other way around, starting from voices based on a script, then move on motion capture where, hearing the lines you can act accordingly. Just my 2 cents.
They literally have some of the best facial mocap and voice acting across the entire video game industry. Not sure what you mean when you say it makes the game cold. That one Ichiban monologue from the end of LAD puts most performances that were mocapped and voiced at the same time to shame.
aside from graphics, every single change in ishin is just making it much2 more worae and grindy, can anyone tell me why? the original is already awfully grindy, and the changes makes it much2 worse, stupid memoira substory, and blacksmith, seriously why? is it a live service practice?
i have completed and platinum 25+ rgg games since 1-2 HD remaster, including the OG ishin, aside from hokuto no gotoku i ve never been dissapointed in your works, but this one dissapoint me.
I'm getting some subtle toxic work environment vibes... Not letting the Voice Actors have any creative freedom and then joking about it? Yikes! Glad I don't work there. You know they probably work over 40 hours each week, too. Love the games, but hate to see it
