Congrats! It's the attitude you have that has made you successful. No matter what the ups and downs are, you just keep moving forward. So many people shut down with any failure, whether it's a large value return on ebay or something more serious. You just cant quit. I've used Zote for spot cleaning. One thing I learned about making your own laundry soap, there is a difference when it comes to whites. When using Zote or Fels Naptha to make laundry soap it isn't quite as toxic as some commercial detergents but agitation is imperative for the homemade stuff to work well. Anyway, just a little info there. I love my ebay business but the washing and cleaning is a pain sometimes. I hang a lot of stuff outside for several days when it smells like smoke and that really seems to be effective, sunshine is amazing if you can find it.

My husband and I got married at the courthouse super casual. Shorts and flip flops. and then went on an epic honeymoon. I bought and brought my dream wedding dress with us, found a photographer on Instagram. Asked her if she knew a makeup artist on the island and to please bring her. We found the 1 florist on the island to make me a bouquet. And we did our vows just the 2 of us in a pretty spot on the hotel grounds and had an amazing photo shoot with the photographer I found. It was all super casual and easy flowing and worked out perfectly. I totally recommend doing it that way. It was just the 2 of us the entire time. Now we’re coming up on 10 years and will probably have a vow renewal with our family present this time. And about your mole…if it’s skin cancer try not to stress. Ive had skin cancer probably 10 times on my face and body. Needing removal. Surgery. Stitches. It’s totally manageable. Try not to let it stress you out.

Oh Cayley, how exciting! I got married in the backyard of an AirBnB mansion in Malibu overlooking the ocean, and then we drove a couple minutes to the beach and had our pictures done there! We did everything ourselves for about $6k, including my dress and the home rental. This was in 2017 so it would probably be a bit more expensive now but it’s doable! And IMO anything under $10k is pretty cheap for a wedding, even an elopement! lol Congratulations, btw, and I hope all the health stuff is great now. 🩷 Happy Valentine’s Day!

Congrats!! My husband and I just did a courthouse wedding in our formal attire with close family only. We then did a reception and a local wine bar in their cellar (so dark and moody and cool) for 30ish people. It was absolutely amazing! All about us. Gave zeros F's about what everyone else thought. ANDDD the magic part was we spent $300. Total. Plus $600 on my dress. ;). That was 7 years ago and we are still happily married. I know multiple couples that spent $10K+ and they are divorced. DO WHAT YOU WANT!

Congratulations! So funny I just am listing a pair of pants that smell like smoke. I washed them, put them in the sun after they dried, and then sprayed odor eliminator from Norwex on them. They do not smell like smoke anymore.

Congrats!!! For me the most effective for smells has been ozone spray, it removes cigarette smells. You just have to make sure to use it in a well ventilated area. Ozone machines are what they use to remove smoke smells from hotel rooms and used cars.

Use your vertical space, coats can go on a pole on the ceiling/ highest point on the wall. Along the back, above your shoes.

1st 🙏 that you get better 2nd OMG CONGRATULATIONS!!! (If you find it in your heart to take us along on your wedding & shopping journey, I'd love it) 3rd put your smokey item in a bag or bucket with coffee beans, the air it out for a few days. (You can reuse the beans several times) If that doesn't work and your plan is to re-donate it, just wash it & don't dry it. Or list it anyway, disclose the odor ( there's tons of smokers that do not care)

Huge congratulations! My husband and I didn’t elope but we did a small wedding with 25 people in Las Vegas at the Venetian on one of their bridges on the grand canal. It was perfect. We had a coordinator who took care of the pastor, music, photos, flowers etc. They provided security since we were in a public space. It wasn’t that expensive given it was almost our only cost.

First off: Congrats on your engagement! I also use Fels-Naptha bars and it's awesome. It gets grease stains out of fabrics, which is pretty hard to do with other products. It has saved so many pairs of jeans that were brought home from thrifting, where I would have had to disclose the stain or just trash. So, just based on that, I'd say it's worth it.

I wouldn’t get rid of any open space you have either. Maybe you could make a separate category in your eBay store and call it “Wholesale” and put your excess items in there for resellers to buy maybe at a lesser price. Like a minimum of 20 items each at half price or whatever.

So many things to say. Love Fels-Naptha soap, I have made laundry soap for years and it works great! Congratulations on the engagement! I did a small destination wedding and only had about 10 people I invited. It was the best. We even pulled over and picked wild flowers on the side of the road. Its been 24 years strong. Katy & Vikki's RU-vid channel they talk about their enzyme clothing cleaner which seemed cool for large clothing sellers. I have a rental unit and if you can't talk on the phone you can't rent my unit. I feel this paralysis is becoming worse. Texting is fine for people but the second you want a phone conversation they freeze or just won't do it. All the best on your health journey just breathe and you will come through everything.

My husband and I got married in our early twenties (mid-30s now), so obviously my tastes and such have changed over the years... we did a big wedding (300+ guest list!) but if I had to do it over again, I would totally skip the big wedding and do something smaller instead! Save some $, less stress, and honestly- as long as you have the closest people to you there, that's all that matters. As far as the health stuff goes- heard you on that! I have been dealing with lots of health stuff myself over the past year or so, and it is extremely taxing, and makes it hard to get things done at times. It definitely wears on you- so wishing you healing thoughts, and I hope things get better for you on the health front!

Back in my day...yeah, I'm old...elopement meant that the couple runs away on their own and gets married in secret. Mostly it was when either or both set of parents did NOT want the two to get married. So this kind of elopement is a new idea to me. BTW, my husband and I saved ALL the money by getting married at city hall in NYC.

So- I am wondering…. have you heard of Linda’s Stuff? It’s an ebay consignment store. Anyways- I think you could be super successful adopting that model. Where you create a brands list, and then have people send you those items…your team lists the item, and then when the item sells, you split the profit with the person that sent you the item (that’s the business model in a nutshell). 😆 Congrats on the engagement!

You don’t need a large extravagant expensive wedding to have a happy marriage. we have been married for 11 years now.

One way to configure the desks would be to arrange them in pairs, head to head. What I mean is, put two desks together, facing each other.

You asked for recommendations on organizing. I always suggest the "library" method, which it looks like you have done with your boxed clothing. Perhaps the same with the desks? Maybe form "endcaps" with extra shelving? They would increase in length but might save some space. You'd have to find a new hanging space for your inventory sheets. Lastly, if your landlord is ok with it, you may wish to utilize wall space. Even ceiling space with hanging shelving (like what's used in garages). Ikea has some great unique storage ideas. Might be worth a looksie. If you follow Mogi Beth, I like how she actually uses short shelving units for her work area/shipping station. That's all I got today! Keep breathing, lean in on your faith, one foot in front of the other. It's all gonna work out. We appreciate you! :)

Beach weddings I have had friends get married in Hawaii a lot and Figi, Thailand and Australia...unfortunately I did not get an invite and I never married there myself LOL - Yet. I would go where you want to honeymoon :-). Don't ever say oh we'll take our honeymoon later...married almost 20 years and nope it never happened for me. Wherever you go I'm sure you will both be very happy for a very long time. I like the RumFish Beach Resort by Tradewinds in St Petersburg Florida if you want to stay in US. The Sand so White The Water was so beautiful.

Ask for a way to consolidate your inventory, one of the things that I have done, which has worked well is that I use metal rolling racks instead of the plastic racks that you have to hold your inventory. It’s very easy to simply move it out of the way when you’re taking photographs, etc. and then just move it back when you’re grabbing inventory… Hope this helps :-)

It is 850 fill power which is really hard to find because of how expensive it is. The higher the FP the more warmth with less down filling required to achieve that warmth. They retail for like $380. I have one I use for long distance backpacking. It gets patched up whenever it gets damaged.

Congrat's on your engagement! Looking back at my own wedding I would have gone a more simple / personal way and not the big invite everyone. A simple dress and not so much fancy stuff. Allot of money spent just for the show. Wish we put it towards a small honeymoon vacation instead as that is what we cut out for the money we had to spend. Cayley, may I make a suggestion? I remember you saying awhile back that you wanted to have RU-vid be a bigger income stream for you so you can take step back from reselling a bit. Wouldn't it make more sense to post more videos here that are different/maybe more creative than doing shows on Whatnot? And getting the adsense $$$ to pay for the wedding? Seems like it would scratch your itch to make videos, grow your audience and make you money. Just an idea! You could incorporate your team more in the videos and have it be collaborative. IDK! Just some thoughts!!
