In this video I share with you some tips and techniques I used to make Optimus vs Sentinel Stop Motion such as camera movement, the use of clay and some techniques for making Stop Motion more realistic.
I have learned these things mostly by watching other Transformers Stop Motion videos since 2009. If you have any suggestions or tips, they are so welcome. Thanks for watching!
Programs used:
Animashooter: makes taking pictures easier. Example shown in 1:51
Photoshop fix: to remove clay, hand and wooden sticks. Examples shown in 3:56
Photoshop mix: used to blend 2 pictures or more. An example is shown in 4:48
Microsoft Paint: used to make the mouth moving. An example shown in 7:06
Movie Maker: To put all together.

With clay, wooden sticks, a lot of patience and mostly ANIMASHOOTER to take pictures easier.

once i had kinemaster in my tab. due to storage issues i couldn't made the stop motions. then one day my mother said she had an camera set in her home so i took those camera sets and i got my tour setup same like yours but difference is i have filmforth app to make stop motions.

Hey, great video! A few questions for you tho. What program did you use? How do you add special effects? My biggest question is how do you add sound effects and voices? I'm planning on making a stop-motion, but I'm still in the writing stage and still gathering the figures for my characters. Any tips?

Thank you. I use movie Maker. For special effects I use color paper and the light of my cell phone, also there is a web site "fotagecrate" for the special effects. And for the sound effects and voices, it is all from the movie, I just download it and synchronize the audio with the pictures I take.

Abraham Martinez thank you for the reply. I just checked out footagecrate and it looks very promising so thank you for that. One more question for you though- where do you get the sound effects to download? Did you have to make/record your own sound effects from the movie and download it from there? Or is there an actual place/ website to get it from? Ok maybe that was more than one question but still 😂😅

For sure, studio series are the best option. After Bee vs Prime was successful I thought an amazing fight would be Sentinel vs Optimus (but I only own the old ones) . For for my next videos I’m using only studio series, like Bumblebee vs Dropkick. Thanks for your comment :)

Can you make stop motion with a canon A100is powershot?? If so can you edit the pictures and how can you transmit pictures to my phone?

Yeah, why not? Even with those types of cameras a tripod can be attached. I do know there is an app by canon called "camera connect" so that you can take pictures using your phone as a remote control and you can download them to the phone. For editing, I don't know any app for phones. I use Photoshop fix for iPad
