2022 Storage Video!!! See how we fit 20,000 pixel lights, 30x30 foot driveway matrix, 2 mega trees, 5 huge wreaths, 4 singing trees, a 6-foot star, 8 leaping arches, and lots of other props all in our garage. We are often asked during our light show "how do we store it all" so I wanted to post a quick video for those interested. I also included some tips that I use to help setup for the next year go easier.

I see a cyclone dust collector and a Jet air cleaner.... nice to see another dual woodworker / Christmas light hobbyist! I've been doing both since around 2005! Great job on the video, I've done "Behind the Scenes" but never "Behind the Storage"... maybe to get out in the attic to get one done!

So that’s the wife’s workshop and she’s very talented with what she does….me not so much with anything woodworking lol. Has come in handy when building our Starburst prop:support for very top roof etc in this hobby though…yeah I wasn’t going to do a behind the storage video but I got asked many times this year about storage, likely because of the huge driveway matrix addition I guess

Great video, I loved how organized you are with your pixels. the first year I put my mega tree up it worked great but then the next year like pixels burned out and the strands were bent so the tree looked bad. This year on my display I put windows with pvc which work great. im glad you made this video as it helps me know what props are easy to store and awesome looking at night.

What are the racks you have suspended. Maybe a video showing them in more derail?

These videos are making me really interested in doing this sorta stuff although I will probably not do it at the scale u do it. I might start doing some small effect shows. You have any tips on what products are the best for beginners?

I’d always recommend a solid pixel controller like a Falcon 16v3 so you CAN scale and grow with it if you get addicted to the hobby like many of us do. This one controller (0r 2) could get you a pretty awesome 1st year show www.pixelcontroller.com/store/ready-to-run-controllers/50-f16v3.html

How long does it take to set that all up and how many people?

Takes us about 2 weeks of working pretty diligently to set up physically. It’s mostly just me doing physical setup with help here and there from my young kiddos and my wife

@@AVeryMerryMeridian that's impressive you can do that all in 2 weeks. Definitely got a good system down. I have 1500 pixels and it takes me a week!! Lol. 20,000 would take me 4 months!
