It was so great to photograph this beautiful 14-year old teenager from the Netherlands and to test the Godox AD400 again with the beauty dish and softbox. I love experimenting with fine-art portrait photography and it was wonderful we could also photograph in between some beautiful blossom trees.

I'm planning on sharing videos in which I show you my typical work-week as a photographer. I will give you tips & tricks concerning photography, photo shoots, backdrops, studio props, camera settings (iso, aperture, shutter speed, white balance), photoshoot outfits, photoshoot make-up etc.
Bedankt voor het kijken! Ik ben een full-time fotograaf in Nederland en ik wil je graag iets meer laten zien over mijn werk als fotograaf. Wil je meer weten over (digitale) fotografie? IMPORTANT
If you are interested in photographing newborn babies yourself I would highly recommend you to first learn about photography in general. Master you camera, photograph in the Manual mode, learn about aperture, iso, shutter speed, white balance, light and composition. Take photos of your friends (adults or very patient older kids) and make sure you don't have to think about your camera anymore when photographing babies. Learn about editing as well. Please, don't experiment photographing Newborn babies without training. Attend a workshop by an experienced and professional photographer with an expertise in Newborn Photography. Learn about the anatomy of babies and invest in good quality cameras, lenses and props. Babies are extremely vulnerable and small and their safety and comfort should be your highest priority. Start with simple poses and make sure you know and understand that many 'pinterest poses' are composites. Please, don't try this at home. If you want beautiful photos of your own Newborn Baby, I highly recommend you to hire a professional and experienced photographer who is trained and specialised in Newborn Photography.

Love the teen model photos. Some very beautiful and very elegant photo's. The old dresses helped out massively as they really add that touch of real elegance. Doesn't have to cost a fortune either when you find them in a thrift shop.

I love your work and how you share your knowledge and experience so generously! And the photos are gorgeous! I have a little question though. How come you don't shoot on a lower ISO (such as iso 100) and some add more flash power? In order to have maximum quality in the photos? I know that iso 500 isn't a problem for a camera like the one you use, but non the less is of course iso 100 technically better. But with your skills and experience, I'm sure there is a good reason as to why you choose to work with this setup and these settings? Thanks a lot for a great channel!

A quick tip for you: Tell the makeup artist to match the hands with the face. They always turn out red-ish if the model has them up to the face.

Very nice pictures. I have a technical question regarding the studio shoots. Do you only use flash light or do you allow also natural light in those photos ? I mean would the photo be entirely black without using the flash ?

Thanks for the video. I have a question: do you show your clients a fully edited gallery for them to choose, or they are just soft edited and once they choose you edit just those. Can you talk about business? How are your packages and all? Thanks;) 😍

I see the nikon d750 with 2470mm is so big for your hand,, maybe you should switch to sony a7iii because it's lightweight fullframe mirroless and the eye autofocus is so cool , for baby photoshoot who always moving you can use Eye autofocus with no worry, and electronics viewvinders is good

At 6:46-ish... I was already looking, so you did not need to point out the obvious... lol. It is you, not the pants, that make your visual image flattering, or not. Just so you are fully aware of what I was seeing, you very well flattered yourself in this video also. Now, get on with your photography.

Haha, who invented these kind of paperback pants. Look great from the front (the part I usually see in the mirror), but really not very flattering from behind (which I didn't realize of course until I started editing haha). I'm glad most people just watch for the photography anyway :)

@@FennaPhotography I learn from what you show as to what you do within your portrait shoots (and so on). What you do is rather raw... not mass media refined, so the honesty and purity is there. You do a good job, from the direct photographic side, to the collection and expression of the accouterments. I thank you.
