You have no idea dude. I can not tell you how mind blowing it was in terms of being immersive, and also the gameplay mechanics. Still one of my favorite games ever! There’s so much stuff I remember about the game.
So when I was young (maybe 5 or 6), I purchased a copy of it for the PS2. After a few hours of walking about the shopping centre and travelling home, I put it into my PS2 excited to play it. It booted up, as you expect, I played through the first part of the first level and boom, infinite loading screen... It was clear that my disc was faulty. My Mum refused to take me back that day to get a new copy and so I cried for ages that day constantly replaying it desperately hoping for it to get past that loading screen... When my Mum eventually swapped it for a working copy, I played through it and I believe I fully completed it.
@@RobertT1999 so sad 😢 Glad you finally got to play it though, that sounds like an overall good memory! It worked fine on the Xbox (the master race) for me, but to be fair to the PlayStation, I once downloaded a game from the Xbox store (Arkham City) and it worked fine at first but later on it kept saying the disc was scratched even though there was no disc, and I could never resolve it, sadly. But overall I liked the Pixar games, I think they really tried and obviously had world class animators and tech people working on it.
