I'm from Philly and we also recently upgraded our scoreboard system to something similar. This is phenomenal and a far cry from the old basic four-sided electro-mechanical boards I grew up seeing.
Agreed. I have been to both the (then) CoreStates Center, and here it the UC. Being from the Detroit area, and now living and teaching in Genesee County, it had been way too long since I have bern to either. Philly in 1997, and Chicago in 2016) so this will be awesome to see up close in person.
I miss the old Chicago Stadium Scoreboard with the round clocks. Also The Monster Sounding Pipe Organ built into the building. And of course the greatest PA Announcer to ever live Harvey Wittenberg. Just Sayin..............
The scoreboard's nice I like Philly scoreboard even though I've been to United center it's a nice building they probably did this in 2020 also 25th anniversary of the building
I'm glad both owners were willing to pay big bucks for this great scoreboard. Now, if only Jerry would open his wallet and pay the luxury tax for the Bulls like a big market owner should do, that would be great.
EIGHTY/20 no they didn’t. They relocated it to the rafters. www.thefaceoff.net/nhl-goal-horns-west.html scroll down to Chicago and the third and 4th show where it is
