Tony Bamanaboni [TomatoPowers] She’s up there, for sure, but my favorites will always be Hitoshi Sakimoto, Masashi Hamauzu, Yoko Shimomura, and Junya Nakano.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night From a die hard Castlevania fan from the original in the arcades , thank you so much. We will support your new series with the same intensity that we used to for Castlevania. Dying to play this game.
As much as I would have liked to play this game over a year ago, I am glad they are taking their time to make sure everything is perfect before dropping it on us.
It's strange how i always idolized Michiru Yamane and yet i've never seen her talking about her job before. These interviews are pretty nice to understand that real talented people are making these godlike soundtracks, and hearing how they tackle the challenge can be really inspiring. Thanks for another update!
Michiru Yamane seems ready to create another amazing OST. Will be tough to top SOTN's, but I'm still looking forward to hearing more of her tracks in Bloodstained.
She did an incredible job on the OST for Lament of Innocence. It is still one of my favorite CV OST's and I feel it, along with the game itself, are highly underrated.
skeletank mcgraw The soundtrack was great in LOI, but the game wasn't very exeptional, IMO. People praise SOTN because it's a timeless masterpiece. It withstood the test of time thanks to its masterful 2D visuals, great controls, and amazing OST. No game in the series comes close to it, though Aria of Sorrow and the DS titles are almost as good, IMO. Castlevania is just better as 2D, honestly.
Symphony of the Night huh? The second castle, almost every area plays the same music track over and over again. Sure the singular tracks were amazing, but other Castlevanias have overall more great songs.
Masked Guy I am not saying it's better than SotN, just that it's underrated. I feel even though it's 3D, it's the closest to feeling like a CV game than any other 3D CV. Personally though, while SotN OST is great, I still like LoI OST more.
I assume you're thinking of Mighty No. 9 and Project Phoenix, but lots of great games have already been released thanks to Kickstarter. There's no curse, just a risk.
Thanks to you for working on this project which means a lot for all of us. Since my first days as a Castlevania fan, I was amazed by the music and I find this beauty again in the songs yet available for Bloodstained. One word in particular for Michiru Yamane : I fell in love with "Requiem for the gods" in SoTN and since then I have a lot of respect and admiration for you and your work. We all believe that your efforts will be rewarded. Thanks again, really.
You guys have no idea of how much I love your work. I listen to Voyage of Promise every night while sleeping since the first demo was released. No kidding.
Michiru yamane is composing the sound track to this game! NANI!!!? SHE IS BY FAR MY TOP FAVORATE VIDEO GAME COMPOSER. Castlevania SOTN, Lament of Innocence, Curse of Darkness. Omg I can't wait for this game to drop SWITCH ALL THE WAY BABY!
Every update, the excellence of the music stands up to me. Keep up the awesome work, and give us the option to purchase the soundtrack onegaishimasu :)
THANK YOU for this game guys... I'm feeling a teenager again playing it with the great memories of SOTN... the game and the soundtrack are amazing... Cant wait for the next game to be released.. ARIGATO!
That is a very talented composer line up. Especially with the musical genius of Michiru Yamane I loved her work on Castlevania Symphony of the Night so I can't wait to hear these masterpieces
Watching how much effort they've put into the game fills me with joy, I can't wait to hear all of those melodies in the game and be amazed again by their work.
Keep up the good work! I always loved Castlevania music as it spills with so much emotion and feeling and seeing as how so much work is being done for this game I am very excited to experience this game. It can't come soon enough!
Michiru Yamane is EASILY my favorite videogame composer ever! I've been a hardcore Castlevania fan for quite a while now and I fell in an instant love with Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night! It's pretty much everything a hardcore Castlevania fan (especially Castlevania: Symphony of the Night fan), such as myself, could ever dream of! Enough said.
THANK YOU and its good to hear the music have the final touch now. Yes this game gonna be goood and I am glad Michiru Yamane did a great comeback for this game.
I love that the track that runs throughout the video already feels familiar and kind of nostalgic even though the game isn't out yet. I'm so attached to classic Castlevania tracks like Bloody Tears, and the entirety of the Castlevania III soundtrack, so I was kind of worried about if Bloodstained would succeed in getting its own iconic sound and tunes.
The soundtrack is strikingly beautiful and I cannot believe how talented this team of musicians are - did they absorb shards from Sirens to make that wonderful music?
I am so happy. I cannot express the level of gratitude, excitement and inspiration that I feel has been exuded by the team of Ritual of the Night. Rather than gush everything that has already been said, I can only say this: even if the game is stalled, cancelled, broken, below fan expectations or even terrible (as hard as that could be to imagine) I would still be ecstatic - because the journey these dedicated entrepreneurs have brought me - no, us - on has been an absolute joy to behold. Thank you, team Ritual of the Night - I wish you every success. PS My favourite song by Michiru Yamane is Requiem of the Gods
Because of Konami, Castlevania franchise came to an end. I miss those days when Konami was good. Please keep doing your work on Bloodstained franchise, I will think that Castlevania is not dead. Thank You very much.
Simon Suiker if we get a new Castlevania game it would only suck your money because the real maker of the game will not be there as Konami kicked mgs, Castlevania and other good franchise out. They can't make their games.
These are the talents that Konami botchered and now the upper management at Konami are paying their price with mediocre games. Shmups creators leaves to form Treasure, Toyama leaves Silent Hill, Murayama leaves Suikoden, Akira Yamaoka leaves, Konami close down Osaka division and Ebisu leaves Goemon, Yamane leaves, Iga leaves Castlevania, Love Plus creators leaves, Kojima leaves and takes a big portion of Kojima Productions staff with him. We the players get the justice in the end. Can't wait for Bloodstained!
When I first played castlevania SOTN I loved the music so much that I purchased the soundtrack CD for the game and would listen to it all the time, even when I was at school despite being picked on for not listening to "normal" music like everyone else. 15 years late I am still listening to that same CD and I can not wait to have my signed soundtrack CD for this game to accompany it, as well as the signature Koji Igarashi with my backer version of the game :)
I can’t wait! I had faith when backing this game and it’s looking to pay off.. I love this style of game & its not looking rushed or half assed like others
