Shukurani sana., jaribu kufanya utafiti wa dhati kabla ya kujiingiza kwenye national media. Kakai was a national figure and deserves a good presentation. His first band was called (Muka Muuu). His 1st songs was Muka mukuu, Wendo wa December, Ukuni wa Ngita. The name Kilimabogo was given by Joseph Kamaru later in 1975.
Kakai was not a Kamba hero only but for all Kenya. No matter over 90% of his songs were in Kiswahili. Therefore present his life history in Eng and Kiswahili also.
Thank you for posting this story of my hero. I was very young during those days but I enjoyed dancing to my heroes music. I have always wondered about his homeland and his burial site. I wish to link up with his two surviving children.
