@@SilverFang95 hahahaha have you seen drunk stream #2? "Honestly i think without me blind wave wouldn't be where it is today" in his defense tough, he was very drunk
Erics opening about people without friends with common interests having reason to watch them is exactly it for me. No one in my life shares my interests and Blind Wave shares a lot of my favorite things so now they're my favorites. Been watching them for about 3 years now. This video is great
Somehow, someway it just makes me happy to see two of the best (and of my favorites) reaction channels chating together. I just wish I had a better income to actually patron both xD
joeychiba22 Me too! I didn’t always agree with him in discussions, but I don’t mind that at all, he’s a cool dude. And I love that he’s best friends with Aaron growing up. I just love their dynamic.
Amen to that. Wasnt following blind wave until fmab and death note started. Then my hero academia hit and i saw some new guy sneaking in the middle and immeaditly thought " i dont know who this guy is but i want him on the team". PS secret hitler gamenight with him and his wife was freaking golden.
@@paulanthony8080 I don´t think he doesn´t enjoy watching. His humor is just kinda nitpickery in nature. So it sometimes comes of as him actually hating on things, even when he likes them.
I'm so happy i discovered this interview. Thank you for doing this Akasan. I've been a fan of Blind Wave for years, and they are by far my favorite reaction channel, but there was so much I still didn't know, and I had so many questions. This video answered a lot of them and I really appreciate it.
I know this is old but you killed this part 1 of the interview you really know how to keep everyone talking and what questions to ask very articulated interview, well done bro !! 🔥
Jesus Christ!! Eric’s calf’s are MASSIVE!!! That’s both an positive observation and a bit of a weird attraction 😍😍😍 Anyway, great behind the curtain interview.
I have to say that Blind Wave are my favorite reactors, and that I'm always waiting for their reactions on any movie trailer that comes out. Greetings from Colombia
i knew blind wave for a long time but is it sad to this that years back akasan actually got me into blind wave. And the first video i watched was the star wars fight. But i'm glad i got to travel through time with you guys and plus you guys got me into the DC shows i mean i knew a little bit of DC stuff but because anime hit me first and the story line is better there DC was not hitting me in the feels. but 1 final thing i got to say is i hope in the near future people will be able to do the things they love and get paid doing it and i don't mean it in a greedy way but in a way where people don't have to force them self to stress and only doing the job because you have to.
He said it on a drunk twitch stream. He was joking. Eric is friends with the Normies. The Normies sponsor blindwave's videos and Blindwave support the Normies on their patreon.
having watched many of their reactions I really don't think Akasan would mix well with their style. Specially because most of the time they just use a lot of sarcasm and harsh criticism on everything.
And there's Tyrone Magnus who's at a million. Not downing him, but I just don't get how he's there, and Blind Wave is at 360 thousand. Now that's not a number to cry about either, that is a huge achievement, and I'm proud they are where they are. It's just weird to me I guess that they're not even bigger.
idrc1415 same I used to be a Tyrone fan but he annoys tf outta me now. His content just seems so lazy and especially his gaming streams just shows how shitty his personality is overall. No clue why he’s so popular
@@superheroedits1315 Same here. I used to like him, but after watching him for a long while he gets tiring. I got more respect for guys like Akasan and Blindwave who put more effort in their reactions. Watch Tyrone's full episode reactions. It's him literally being silent, eating grapes and looking annoyed/saying 1 or 2 things throughout the reaction. His content is also stale as hell with his endless try not to laugh compilation reactions. I've even seen him react totally out of his mind insane to people trying to help him during a playthrough. Btw, check out Heatah 22 reacts. Great reation channel.
BIG FACTS.. Blind wave & Normies over everyone for me. i used to be a Tyrone & Reel rejects fan, i still am to an extent but with tyrone? he seems lazy now. quality isnt good anymore, he still running off that old laptop & crappy headphones lol and reel rejects just seem... fake to me in a sense.. like they're trying to hard. tyrone to sometimes. blind wave & the Normies have actual conversations & deep dive into the conversations & actually talk with substance..
@@donjas8137 I honestly feel the same way like you about Reel Rejects as well. It seems they are being a bit too forced. Their reactions became manufactured if that makes sense. It feels so faked whenever they react to something happening in a trailer. Blindwave is super positive, but I believe them. Their talks are solid and their chemistry is damn great. Normies are like that as well, but sometimes I do get a bit irked by them. A lot of obvious things just go over their heads during reactions or guys like Chris that just act like party poopers because he doesn't get what a story is trying to do, or he has literally skipped episodes and then complained about the show. He did that with American Gods, he literally said he hadn't watched a few episodes. But when he came back he kept complaining how nothing made sense. Heetah 22 is one of my new ones I follow and a favorite as well. Heetah and Hus have nice talks and their reactions are just really fun. They are really observant and have good things to say. I really loved their Hunter X Hunter reactions.
Great interview Akasan, thanks for this behind the scenes look at how the Blindwave crew work and schedule, very interesting, Eric is a true visionary IMO. Also love the content both you and Blindwave put out there, #EdgyShit #Waveriders
Blindwave is a great reaction channel, but I'd also like to recommend Heatah 22. His channel is a ''hidden gem''. Heatah and Hus have great reactions, great observations, nice editing, fun banter and jokes. They don't sit silent nor do they talk throughout everything. They have a perfect balance, don't over complicate things and are straightforward and notice what stories are doing. They have the best Hunter X Hunter 2011 reactions out there. Check them out.
This is fantastic. I love Blind Wave, those guys don't know but watching their vids back in 2016 really got me through a dark time in my life. So I'm glad to see how far they have come and thank for doing this interview
Lets be clear been a 3 year Blind Wave subscriber. So am at the end of the day a BlindWave loyalist. In my opinion Rick has improved allot more from Game Of Thrones Reacts. Know some didnt like his or that reaction. He had better moments then bad ones i think on it. My Hero Academia, and Attack On Titan which is doing now is his better work which experiance has helped. Also Rick strong genra of shows is anime so i recommend checking out Rick reactions with there anime. and now Clone Wars series
I first discovered reaction videos about three years ago with your Arrow season 3 mid-season finale video and then I looked for other channels and stumbled upon Blind Wave. To this day, you guys are still my two favorite reaction channels !! Great interview, gave a lot of perspective. And that cliffhanger was hilarious
Bro like I learned about a bunch of reactors from akasan that’s nuts how I found blind wave for their Star Wars fights because akasan was talking about Star Wars wow the connections you make
