Behind The Vinyl - "Closer Together" with Jean-Marc Pisapia of The Box 

I’ve never been happier at a concert than seeing the Box in the late 80s. I saw them four times. Love your music, Jean-Marc and I still listen to it regularly. We even chatted once before you went on and talked about The Little Prince and how it inspired a few songs. Hope you read this and know that, to TONS of people, your songs were anthems / themes / soundtracks that accompanied big chunks of our lives.

Love to hear Jean-Marc talk about L'Affair Demoutier. I think it's their best song.

I saw The Box live in 1990. They were awesome. There was so much Canadian talent in this era.

I opened for the box in 1987 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada... A great bunch to work with! I sang this tune in our band at the time!

Wow I never understood the meaning of the song till now . I now have a even newer respect for this amazing band.

bought all their albums so even my kids thought i was coool.-they loved the french connection b//c they were in a french immers. school.we played their albums going to and from meme's on sunday visits about 33kms.

Jean Marc seems like such a nice person. I occasionally here some progressive rock influences in their songs (Remnants). I suspect he may have been part of, or influenced by the strong and wonderful Quebec Prog. scene of the 70s with groups like Maneige, Pollen, Sloche, Octobre, Morse Code and Harmonium.

Where ever can I get your music in HQ Audio? I search everywhere. I find nothing. :( Alway think The Box is the best Canadian band ever.
