James Read was never in Order from Chaos, that was Pete Halmkamp. He started OFC with Chuck Keller from Vulpecula / Ares Kingdom. Have you heard Reads other projects Axis of Advance? I think you'd love it. Also check out Cremation, Read's pre-Conqueror band. I used to run the official Revenge website for many years.

Late to the party but I discovered revenge thanks to you my man. My first record of theirs was behold total rejection and I couldn't Fucking believe how insanely heavy that album is. Good eye on seeing the numerical objects in each record.
Hey man, just wondering why you decided to shave your head? it looks sick, just curious cause I just started growing my hair out like 6-7 months ago and was wondering how long it would take to pass my shoulders.
My hair would knot from the slightest breeze even though I took care of it. It just became a pain in the ass to maintain. When I'd sleep, I'd roll over onto it and if I moved my head, it would feel like its getting pulled haha. It sucked. I miss it since it was almost to the bottom of my back, but oh well. This is much easier. And it should get pass your shoulders in in about 6 more months or so.
Dude, sick fucking War Cult Supremacy LP!!! I got that cd from a buddy in like '03 or something, he liked it but wasn't that into extreme metal. I fucking ate it up which lead me to Revenge when I was looking into Conqueror and their other releases. The production on Revenge albums is sometimes hit or miss but the music is insane!!!! Axis Of Advance is another one of my favorites in the genre!!
How did you first discover Revenge? I was listening to Archgoat, Black Witchery, Blasphemy, etc. but heard nothing about Revenge or Conqueror until you started talking about them.
I sadly only have the die hards Attack. Blood. Revenge., the split, Scum. Collapse. Eradication. and I guess you could call the version I have of the newest one a die hard. But yeah, I'm gonna order that NWN press ASAP!
I like that Behold.Total.Rejection had a lot of Grindcore influences and had less of a War Metal feel to it. Not that there is anything wrong with War Metal, I just love Grindcore. Especialy that extremly insane stuff.
Grindcore influence is common in war metal. Blasphemy's first record has a lot of grindcore-esque riffs, structuring, and even drumming. Revenge has always had a heavy grindcore influence yet has always been war metal. Behold.Total.Rejection is definitely a war metal album, just a lot of grind influence on there as well.
