Behringer EDGE - Sound Demo (No Talking) 

If anything was gonna sell me on the Edge, it's this demo. Very nice.

A lot of these sound like they would be B-sides for Underworld. This thing is killer

great programming. I don't think most ppl will be able to do even close to what you're doing with it, but I do think its exactly what everyone knows is possible / loves this type of minimalist synth/sequencer classic monophonic entire beat vibe . Fantastic! I try dong this on the JDxA but that's got 4 analog parts which is a ton more and yet I usually only ever get about as much going on as you do

It has a particular sound to it that I’m finding in nearly every demo. It sounds good for what it does but I just wouldn’t find a reason to incorporate one of these into my studio.

DFAM user here, to me EDGE is more boomy, DFAM is more clean at the low end. Also this one sounds less transparent at all. Sounds good but to me it's like 70% of the real thing.

just get 4 of these for 1000 euro and cause fucking damage.

How to sell each hardware by DYMTN

I have a DFAM and the rest of the MOOG sound studio trio, and as much as i love my MOOG gear, i like this better than the DFAM. The sounds are just darker, grittier, heavier, meatier, deeper......I actually have a CRAVE too but still yet to test it vs the Mother 32. I'm temped to just make a behringer clone of the sound studio (DFAM / Mother32 / Subharmonicon) . Just need to get the Edge and the upcoming Spice and i'll have the (EDGE / CRAVE / SPICE) behringer version of the MOOG sound studio. Then i'll hook all 6 up together and see what rediculous concoctions of sounds i can make from it, lol.... The EDGE is an impressive piece of kit though for a clone, and now MOOG (as the company they used to be) are virtually no more, Behringer are gonna get a lot of sales especially at these prices. I've never been an Uli fan for years, i'm still a bit of a hater from all the sheer copying he does, how he hasn;t been sued by the likes of Moog or Arturia i've no idea.....but at the end of the day capitalism is capitalism, and i just want to make music. You can spend tthousands for 'the real thing' which i have, multiple times! Or you can save a fortune and get 95% of the sound (sometimes more, sometimes you get more features...Poly D for example) ....so people are gonna put their money where they find the most value and until some big company sues Behringer to oblivion, they are gonna keep doing what they are doing, and people will keep buying, including myself.
