So i was playing with the step sequencer on the pro 800, which then lead to me recording it into ableton live, then adding layers. was kinda in my head (the main riff) and i wanted to mess with it. the bass is the pro 1 (my fave for bass) and some plucks with the crave. stings with both the pro 800 and the solina. and one little mopho layer in there here in there as a high gritty but low in the back ground. i did play all the drums by hand, and got tired of it and finally laid some very loose loops just to record back into live so i could play. i will eventually take it out of live and back into my mpc (this was 1 loop of 4!) where i will really lay my percussion layers and make a more serius track with some side chaining and ect. this is some of my experimental explorations with my synths, no samples. i had fun, so i thought id share this. sometimes its the stuff that we dont take serious that ends up being the most fun. to me, the most important rule to music is.........have fun. when its fun, its sounds better. i learned way more having fun than the times i actually attempted to learn. there is a life lesson in there if you read that again. anyways enjoy!
Oh, and its all about being inspired. I want to go home. And don’t mind me, i write love letters thru music. ❤️🙃
