Behringer x32. This is a tutorial series for our sound team at North Strand Community Church. Feel free to chk it out! If you have any questiions, comment me below! Vid # 7
This one was super useful. Our soundguy is out on tour, and we got this mixer last night and went ahead and installed it...and I had no idea how to EQ (sadly, we spent half an hour trying to EQ, but it all sounded horrible...we never realized we had to the hit the EQ button to make it light up :P, that gave us a good laugh.)
Interesting what churches in the states are all about. In Germany they are Old tech buildings with old people talking about old stuff. So basically nobody goes to church anymore.
I would suggest rather than doing this individually on each microphone, that this should be done on the monitor mix instead, termed ringing out the monitors. Would be better to have a low cut for each vocal mic around 100 Hertz, put a high shelf of two or three DB 5K and above and then any other adjustments let that be done on the monitor mix for each monitor that you use.
I rather use the graphic equalizer on the rack for ringing the monitor. Don't use the channel eq for that! And the X32-Mix has a build in generator for pink noise.
My question here is, does this need to be done with each mic individually? I'm running a show for our local theater, and they have tremendous feedback issues....I volunteered to give it a shot. The show runs 17 different mic packs, of two different brands (shure and sampson). Getting to the point, would having someone test center stage with each brand of mic be a good start, or should i have them moving to the closest point the would be in contact with a monitor/house speaker. Thnks for helping!
Thanks for the tutorials, I am new to soundboard mixing, at my church we record the sermon, the playback is way to low, how do I increase sound input when recording and do you have a basic tutorial for a newbie on the Behringer X32
jjaguar707 adjust your gain going into your recording chanel or if you record onto a thumb drive go into settings and you can adjust your gain there as well
Hi Josh, just got the x32 compact... I'd be grateful if you would show me how to run my dj music from laptop to the console and out to speakers.. of all the many videos out there no one covers this.😐
Thank you for the tut, very good for novices like me and others out there. If you get this can you reach out to me, I would like to discuss more thank you
man I have a similar problem, I added a non powered monitor and have no sound coming out of it. Do I need to add an amp to the monitor? using the X32 Compact, just got it and am learning how to use it now.
Frustrating thing about these videos is that most people doing the tutorial go to something other than what the tutorial name was. This was supposed to be a tutorial on the console itself showing buttons getting familiar with the desk . . but you have gone straight to an audio tutorial . . Only briefly glancing at where the knobs are . . you need to take more time with that if you are calling this an X32 tutorial. It would help to concentrate a little more on the physical features of the unit..
