Dude, I cannot express my gratitude enough for this video. I had so much trouble setting up this interface, and came upon about a million unhelpful videos. Finally, someone smart who actually took the time to plan out what they wanted to say in advance! I owe you big time, buddy!

When I found this video I thought I was finally going to get this to work for me. I've spent an entire day and a half trying to figure this out. I started in a different DAW and switched to Pro Tools thinking it might work better. I'm sure this is 10 times easier for someone more experienced and knowledgeable, but I only know what I know. So frustrating! I'm on a Mac and I tried to follow your instructions to a 'T'. But when I got to the part where you are changing the individual channel inputs and outputs (at 16:10), when I click on the input or output button I'm seeing something completely different in my dropdown menus, not what you are seeing in your demonstration. What you describe doing is very clear and straightforward, but my ProTools is somehow not showing the inputs and outputs your Pro Tools is showing. So I'm stuck, again, for the umpteenth time. For now, I'm mostly interested in using this to output tracks from Pro Tools to my MR18 (same as the XR18). In the output dropdown my Pro Tools is only giving me a few options all related to my MacBook Air Speakers. I did all the other settings you specified previous to that step in the video. What a pain!

Hello there, good information thank . question , for some reason the X-R ,do not appear on Protools mix window to pick the interface on the inputs it’s greyout any chance you my now as y?I will appreciate any help thank you.

The issue I’m having is that the x16 is not showing up as an option on the Mac in any of those spots

Hi, The XR 16 cannot be used as an audio interface with your computer. Only the 18 has that capability. Sorry, I know that’s not the answer you were looking for. Thanks for watching!

No driver for MAC on Behringer site??

Hi Keith, As noted in my video at 12:20, MAC does not require a USB driver. The mixers USB connection is directly compatible with MAC’s core audio. This is true of most audio equipment when using with a MAC. Thanks for watching and happy mixing!
