Oh my goodness! I’m crying because what a beautiful testimony! Beautiful because what was meant to kill you didnt.. you’re still here, you’re still alive, you’re beautiful, you have a beautiful daughter.. what the enemy meant to literally destroy you at 13 GOD BLOCKED IT! Please Lani, I’m not trying to be super religious. I know you’re young and some times as young folks we don’t see the “freedom” or fun in truly submitting our life to Christ .. we have a basic understanding but we are hesitant to truly commit mind, body, & soul out of “fear of missing out” or we think we have all this time left.. all I ask is that you let God use YOU! Not your will, HIS will.. sometimes you will think you’re being punished or you may not like who or what he’s trying to do in your life Bc in todays world wrong is right and right is wrong so it may LOOK one way but if you let him use you.. oh the doors that will open! You’re already helping so many by telling your story! I’m so happy and proud of you. I can feel that God is going to do something mighty with you.. congratulations in advance. I was raped at 13, no one believed me… I ended up having my beautiful daughter she’s now 6 ❤️ life’s really difficult, and it has ruined me mentally… I pray god makes it easy for all the young mothers. I’ve been judged so much my whole life because of this, but I promise it’ll get easier. ❤️❤️

I got pregnant at 13 year's old as well and a nurse told me that it was isn't to late to get rid of him mind you I was 4 mouth's pregnant when she told me that but I didn't listen to her because god don't make mistakes even tho it was hard for me being so young and people looking down on me but I knew that god love's me and he does know wrong god knew I need it someone to love and someone to love me back unconditionally my son is my best friend I am very grateful for him and wouldn't change nothing .💟 to you and your daughter.

Man! My wife and I were young when we had our first son. She was 17 and I was 19 and looking back on that seems CRAZY bc we were so young! I could not imagine what you went through mentally and the stress of pregnancy and growing up fast at only 13!! Congrats to you! continue to thrive!

Thank you for sharing your story. I was 12 years old and pregnant but had an abortion because I was getting molested by my stepdad. And when I was getting molested I began going with a 14 yrs old boy which I did not know better. So no judgment for me. Look at you now

Your so beautiful and such a light! It’s crazy how our eyes can recognize the good in someone’s soul, (looks aside) I can just see your energy is radiant. My mom was 16 and pregnant and my brother is probably the biggest blessing to everyone he knows, so to even imagine how the world would be if my mother never had him, I don’t even want to imagine because so many lives would be so different if he weren’t here and I’m so grateful my mother had him because at that age it’s so easy to take a different route now my brother is in a group called neon dreams (you can look him up if you want) but he’s doing really well in life and bringing a lot of joy to people all over ❤️ (also my mom had him on her birthday so they both have the same birthday 🥰 what a beautiful sign from god the he was a gift) Edited to add : People also use to say such mean things to my mom.. my grandmothers friends would say that she would never amount to anything bc she was having this baby, she’s an RN and owns 2 businesses now 😇

Aw, I have a 13yr old and I honestly couldn't even imagine! That's so hard but by the grace of God you overcame it. I can imagine the dirty looks and sly remarks you received. I was 20 but I looked younger and ppl were horrible to me! Good for you for choosing to keep your baby, now you can teach her all the things you wish you had known growing up. That’s a very sticky situation that they couldn’t make you get an abortion (not saying that you should have) because at the same time it’s like forcing the parents/guardians to take care of now TWO kids, you and baby they maybe didn’t want or can’t afford

Although I don't have any children, my situation was similar. I lost my virginity at 13 I was beginning to see that I didn't have any real friends when the pregnancy rumor hit the streets and later found out that it was my "best friend" who put the rumor out it was a mess because the rumor had gotten back to my mom so I know exactly how you felt at that time and I salute you

Girl, that part with the lady at the pharmacy really just took me back a few months. I really can relate to how you felt; I know what you were trying to explain. 2 totally different situations, BUT I know how you felt. A couple of months ago, I was pregnant, my partner and I were told that the baby was healthy... GREAT! A few weeks after that, out of nowhere, we started getting awful news; at this point, I'm days away from being 7 months. They eventually told us that we had 2 options: 1. to legally terminate the pregnancy or 2. risk giving birth and her dying, and if she doesn't die, she would have a poor quality of life (floppy baby syndrome, can't eat/talk, wholes in her heart, just a plethora of different things). The hardest decision in our lives, but I decided to terminate. On the day of the procedure, she was measuring larger than she was supposed to measure because of everything that was wrong with her. The lady doing the sonogram turned the screen off so I couldn't see anything, so I asked her, "can I see her?"... why did I do that? She started yelling at me (obviously not knowing my situation), asking me, "why, why, why would you do this? why would you wait this long? do you know what you are doing?" just a bunch of mean things, mind you I was already feeling horrible, super depressed. Because of COVID, I was alone. I literally started bawling uncontrollably. I wanted my baby; I went to multiple doctors hoping that at least one who tell me something different. That lady made me feel like scum. I was so broken.

My best friend planned to get pregnant 🤰🏽 at 16 and was trying at 15 and i spoiled her doctors appointments I use to cook for her and I remember her grandparents being so upset about it she basically lived with me that’s my god son that was literally my first baby use to keep him while she was at school because I did homeschool she went through all the crazy shit so I learned from her

Most early teen pregnancies are the result of parents not talking to their children about the consequences and the responsibilities of becoming sexual. Sex is a natural thing to do. However, your parental responsibility is to talk to your children about the feelings they naturally will be feeling and what to do when they start to experience these new found feelings. Most parents still find it hard to talk about sex to their preteen and early teenage children because they feel they will make them more curious about experiencing it. A word of advice, better safe than sorry. First of all parents, don't forget you were once a preteen or a teenager when you first felt those tingly intimate feelings about someone. Remember Mother what it felt like not being able to talk to your Mother, your Big Sister, your Aunt or Cousin about what you were feeling because you didn't want to them to brush you off instead of understanding, sitting you down and explaining what to do when you had those feelings. So instead you talked to your female friends that knew no more than what you knew and as a result you found yourself having sex with a boy you liked without being realistic about the possible results of having sex. I speak about the girls because no matter what the girl is the one who becomes pregnant. You don't have to be graphic explaining what sex is, generalize and prepare them for the day they make the decision to have sex. The main thing other than abstinence is birth control. Don't depend on the boy to protect you. Most times boys will blackout, say and/or do whatever it takes to have sex then after sex wake up and not know how to handle what just happened so they avoid the girl until the next opportunity. Teach our young girls/ ladies to LOVE THEMSELVES enough to wait until they are set in life (25 - 30 yrs old) before they have children. Teach them well.

Hi Beautiful ☺️ I gave birth to My daughter two months shy of My 14th birthday. She is now 31 with 2 children of Her own. I was the “outcast” - as well. We share a very similar story so I can relate… Although, judgement from others took an emotional toll - I loved/love being a mom and have been blessed with Her. Now, don’t get Me wrong I wouldn’t suggest a young girl to follow because a child is Life. Having My daughter actually raised Me to be a responsible woman. I worked from home styling hair, traveled to clients homes, in a salon braiding and weaving (no chemicals) and babysitting.. And, finished school then college.. God made a way!! Btw, My daughter is healthy, educated, established and an overall good person. So, with that said - Love and Light to You and Your daughter 🌸🤍🙏🏽 Stay safe, well and Abundant ‼️

i can't really relate to her as much but i can say that she's VERY STRONG!! this just says alot about how ppl are so disgusting in this world && if your going through something like this (depression) committing is NOT the answer she went through it at 13 & she's now 21.. It just takes some time. although i can't really relate i went through something smiliar but not really i lost my virginity at 12 in the 6th grade.. PEOPLE i thought were my friends called me names & such others.. NOT everyone is YOUR friend just because you hang around them.. i didn't get pregnant cause i was more educated on that kinda stuff !!
