Hello, I am not lost. But I can answer some of your questions and I encourage you to check my answers. You can invade at any level as long as you have an invasion tool (bloody finger) Many invade at level 125+ because that’s “end game” and “meta level” and many players hover there or are starting their second play through. It allows a lot of build variety. As a fellow bad red man, I would encourage new invaders to make an invasion specific build for somewhere between RL 20-80. At higher levels it’s easier to die in one hit to magic or ashes of war. You want to practice fundamentals like spacing and roll catching. Your invasion weapon level should be your character’s rune level divided by 5 for regular weapons. Somber weapons are 2.5 regular weapon levels per upgrade rounded down. Your highest ever weapon level and character level influence who you can invade. It’s about RL 5 lower and RL 25 higher. You can invade any area you’ve seen the name pop up on your screen for. Summoning pools only matter for coop or duelist effigy. Hope this helps! P.s. don’t forget to level vigor.

- Those levels are the "meta" levels where not only most builds feel complete but also where most people are naturally when they are completing the game. The invasion system works by invading hosts within a certain range of your own level. There's an online calculator for this but what I do remember is that having level 137 lets you invade host with level 125 up to 150. Having a level 168 theoretically covers host levels 150-200. - Summoning effigies are generally beside a bonfire/sites of grace so just check the sites of grace if you're missing something. You can't get invaded without using Taunters tongue as far as I know.

What do you mean by that? If you play offline, I'm guessing you don't plan to play with friend so unless you use the tougue you will never get invaded

​@@sytipe5593 wtf are yall talking about? The tongue just allows another red to come. Alot of people, it seems, invade certain parts of the map more often. Playing with friends is bound to get you regularly invaded at certain rune levels

lol what? Did you not watch the video? Lost dies a decent amount of times to hosts and he does invasions more than most of the player base. Hosts get more flasks, always have summons unless they’re purposely taunter tongued as a solo, and can have blues pop in when needed. Unless you’re fighting against twink build invaders that farm low level hosts with end game gear, then there really shouldn’t be too much of advantage either way. If anything it’s skewed towards the host most of the time. Plus there are tons of ways to stack the deck against invaders more than there already are. Don’t be too aggressive, have decent PvP gear ready to swap to, and dear lord have a decent amount of points invested in vigor. I’m doing a co-o- play through with a pretty casual buddy of mine right now and we kill about 3/4s of invaders. And we’re no where near optimized. Trust, the majority of invaders are not gonna be lost or chasethebro levels of skilled.
