Being a gay man in the 50s and 60s 

I don't think the young people (20-30) yr old gay of today understand the struggle that these men and women went through in the 1950s and the 1960s.

What an interesting man and what a good insight into peoples' circumstances.

Being gay back them was definitely risky, but from what I hear it's wasn't a big deal in day to day life
