I fuckin love glasgow, it’s frendly, multicultural, open minded, artistic, without being posh. Lot’s of problems obviously but peoples seems to stand together. I’d move there from france immediately if I could
Think my comment got deleted, but Eve's band Bitter Suite is really something to check out so I suggest anyone reading should do that :) Took a chance to check them out while watching this podcast and now I have a new band I'm really excited to hear more from! They rock
Mate that last guy was the most fucked up but amazing human. Guys got knowledge but at the same time questionable opinions. 😂 Also wondering if Lyle knew the redhead guy wasn’t originally from Scotland
I actually really like Bitter Suite now. If you’re worried about getting attacked in bed, train Jiu Jitsu. Grounded grappling really doesn’t get better
I lived in Glascow for 7 months. Amazing place with amazing people. Never experienced stopping on the street for a casual conversation for 10 minutes with random strangers before, but it happened regularly there. I ate alone at a restaurant once and a bloke sat down for a conversation. Didn't find out until halfway through the conversation that it was the owner of the restaurant! Lovely people! Funnily enough I met a guy from Slovenia who was in Glasgow to try get into that Acting school that the 2nd bloke was talking about. It's has very strict entrance criteria and tests, and he didn't get in.
