Tenants who cause damage always try to minimize it as an "easy fix". JM is quick to put them on blast with, "why didn't YOU fix it then?" 😂😂😂

The people on the street say the most ignorant things. She didn’t want pictures hung because she’s jealous?!!! Uhhh…WHAT?!!

The comments from the 'man/ woman on the street' come from idiots that don't own anything. First of all, the defendant signs a lease that says he can't put holes in the wall. Then he proceeds to put in 50, and bolts a wall unit to the wall. It's because of people like the plaintiff and the commentors on the street that I'd never own rental property. I'd be in jail for throwing tennants out the front door and watch their asses bounce on the sidewalk.

I never put pictures up when I rented.

I'm a landlord and I would have hsit a brick if I saw all that crap on my walls. My last tenant nailed holes into my custom paneling, very thick, expensive paneling. Their lease stated specifically that they could not nail holes to have anything, but could use command strips. The lease also stated that if they nailed any holes in the paneling they'd forfeit their entire deposit...yeah, they didn't get any money back but they owed rent anyway.

This guy needs to discover Command Strips!

Bad tenant and unscrupulous landlord, lady set him up with those pictures while he still occupied unit, but she had no before move in pictures? Tenant should have stayed in the boundaries of his lease, so it was a good judgment against him.

Even 20 years ago, they had command sticky hooks for walls that went on and came off cleanly if youve got to gang things up. Plus old fashioned white paste cheap toothpaste fills in all those tiny little nail holes just lovely But spackle really isnt that expensive to fill holes in tge walls. Hallways wallpaper is pretty much wear and tear tho. I dont know if itvwas how i was raised or what but i video taped and pointed out every little thing in any apartments i had and I did this before moving in and after moving out. We also did it on any halls we rented for weddings and receptions. I had one place that required we only mop with clear water after a wedding. Then they wanted to keep an extra $50 for the floors being a bit sticky where the punch bowl and bar was set up. I said listen you charge an $80 cleaning fee for afterwards and told us to only use clear water for mopping that night you've already gotten paid for cleaning. I had videos of before and after and showed him and he tried huffing and puffing about it. His boss happened to over hear andvtold him he wasnt allowed to charge extra as he did tell us to only use plain water to mop. Because he didnt trust us not to strip the wax from the linoleum. I do say that I use the place again as i did the cooking for the wedding the day before in the full commercial kitchen they have as its a beautiful set up. But i know all his tricks now

Somehow the ex lawyer has moral issues with a defendant seeking as much money as possible even if she feels its unjustified it's not morally wrong it's a lawsuit and majority of us are unfamiliar with what could even be scrutinized in such a way. Good lord the more I've watched her the more I'm grateful she's not a legit judge and just an arbitrator!

It's not called "clean hoarding". It's called maximalism and it's an interior design aesthetic. People, especially landlords, need to realize that other people are renting a home as a place to live, to store their stuff, etc. If collecting knick knacks makes someone happy, stop judging them for being different than you. And JM - "You have a lot of stuff in a tiny apartment." as if those of us who choose to live in less than 700 sq ft aren't allowed to have as much stuff as people with large homes. Back to her attack on the "little people". If you wear a size 0, you don't exist in her mind. If you live in a small apartment, you have to throw out all of your collectibles because you aren't allowed to enjoy large living in anyway.....no wonder her show got cancelled. She's so stuck up!!!!!

Tenants seem to forget yes they are living in the house, apartment, etc but it is the landlord's property. The tenants have to follow the landlord's rules because they own "the air you breathe"
