Good video, Gary. We're part-timers from NH as well. Each trip to TV we think of it as a vacation and try to fit in all activities during that period of time. Hopefully, we'll increase the length of our stays in TV and enjoy all aspects of the lifestyle while relaxing. We'll investigate the bug screen next trip. Thanks!

I've eaten in Prima a few times and in my opinion, totally top shelf each time. Food is delicious and service is great. I also love Blue Fin. Glad to hear you're starting to relax a bit more. Life goes too fast to carry on with a constant crazy busy schedule. In the end, rarely does someone say "I wish I spent more time in the office."

I closed on a home up in Orange Blossom and absolutely love it last Friday and finally finished my move yesterday. Now it’s time to unpack.

Great information as always. My husband and I are considering part time residence too. He also works from home. I'd love to hear more about logistical issues with having a part time home so far away. For ex. When you're in TV, do you hold your home mail? How long will they hold it? Do you forward? Do you get mail in TV? What about lawn care at home when you're in TV and vice versa. That sort of thing. We would be going back and forth a few weeks or month at a time vs just in the winter. I think that's what you and your wife do. Also, does she work outside the home or is she retired?

Can you keep the bug screen on with the windshield up? Going 20-25 with the windshield down you get a lot of air in your eyes

You can go any speed with the windscreen and you can flip up the windshield if you remove the rubber pads on the front rail (on my Yamaha). If you remove two on the bottom you can flip it up but if you remove all four on the upper it fits better. It is still just a screen so wind still comes through the windshield.

Right now it is very busy with all the construction south of Citrus Grove and Newell. I anticipate this will continue for another year and a half. Then it will be traveled a lot to get to the turnpike for those above the turnpike. It does really slow up at night and on Sunday.

Only the sports pools have lanes, and designated lap times. They’re located at the regional recreation centers.

How long is the cart ride Sawgrass Grove to Brownwood Paddock?

Does the Villages have convenient stores? Because if you were traveling like from the north to the south to go to a pool or something that you wanted to visit, can you stop along the way and get a snack or in a drink and go pee?

Let me answer your most important part of this question where to go pee. Every town square has public bathrooms, village pools & recreation buildings have bathrooms so no shortage of places to go. Regarding stores I recommend you get the Villages GPS app and you can look for any of the above items plus shopping, groceries, fuel stations, etc.

I agree the EzGo I tried was very loud in comparison but I m sure it varies cart to cart.

The sports pools have separate times for different uses. A number of hours each day have open swim with the lap lanes. I have seen the pool sometimes half with lanes and half open. I haven’t used the pool during this time so can’t really tell you if they have any regulations regarding lap lanes usage or lap times. I have only utilized sessions designated for water volleyball in which the entire pool is set up for that.
