Idk if he doesn’t speak the language then he might be seen as rude or something. But anywhere we go, as African-American, we’ll probably be seen as different because it’s a very specific demographic. Also we are foreign lol

The issue is, the propagation of an image and portrayal of black people, that we are thieves, grimy folk. If thats what they've heard and been taught, by word of mouth and media for generations, of course they're going to trust the popular opinion and portrayal. So its NOT ok, they he gets followed in a store for getting a snack, asian niggas in america do it too. Its wrong period.

Most places have a sizable racist population. Obviously it isn't everyone and the racism doesn't have the same face, but racism is racism. East Asian definitely has a racism issue. Though out of the big three (china, japan, korea) Japan might be the least offending (probably cause Japanese's in general aren't aggressive and mind their business) But the smear campaign against black people and darker skinned people has been a strong force world wide for centuries. It's reality. So no, I don't be surprised when I receive racism, I just enjoy the people who aren't racist. Not my fight in other countries. Don't get me started on colorism due to colonialism. Even in some African countries like Nigeria and Kenya, it's an issue.

@@Annonymous5411 I’m Korean-American that was fortunate to have lived in Japan for 10+ years due to my father being US military. The amount of racism I’ve experienced was very little in Japan. Sadly, I can’t say the same about the amount of discrimination I’ve experienced from my own people (Koreans). Not racially targeted of course, but culturally. Being Korean-American is different from being straight up Korean. It’s a fact that there is some sort of racism and/or discrimination wherever we go. So my comment was a general comment about exactly that: racism is everywhere and each country demonstrates their level of tolerance of racial diversity differently

Im pretty sure they do that for other races and idk but alot of black men/women feel entitled and are now arrogant.. hispanics, hawaiins etc get discriminated too
