While I don't agree with bullying or calling people out, there is a deeper meaning behind it buddy. Being fat isn't a healthy lifestyle choice. Not trying to pick on you, just saying this is just the reality of it

@@DJShade707shaming never does anything but create shame. It doesn't lead to weight loss. It fact it has been proven over and over again in studies that fat shaming leads to more weight gain as well as a host of other mental and physical health issues.

@@888999gogo I agree with you, though I'm not sure what you mean by fat shaming causes physical health issues? I'm just stating a fact though - being that size and weight isn't healthy and there are huge health implications. You can either stay as you are or lose the weight. That's on you. Maybe it's about talking to those closest to you and seeing if you can come up with a way to lose the weight.

@@888999gogo My friend from school was always a tubby lad growing up and seemed to have no issue with it back then. We bumped into each other in our hometown at Christmas one year and he had completely transformed his body. I asked him about his weight loss and he simply said that he was mocked by a couple of lads on a night out while at uni and due to that emasculation, he decided to lose weight the next day. Fat shaming literally worked for him, so your blanket statement doesn't ring true at least from my experience. Like all things, people react in different ways but the fact is being fat is physically and mentally unhealthy and while no one should be bullied for being fat, that truth should also not be censored because some people react negatively to it.

​@@ThumpRat I'm saying that statistically and generally, just going of the data, fat shaming leads to mental health issues and weight gain. There will be exceptions to every rule, for example my granddad smoked a pipe everyday and died from old age in his 90s. That doesn't disprove the fact that smoking is bad for you. Obviously I think that healthy eating and exercise should be promoted but you don't need to make fun of fat people to do that. I just think that fat people should be able to live their lives without being harassed. When people are fat shamed cortisol spikes, self-control drops and the risk of binge eating increases and it is also linked to depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, eating disorders and exercise avoidance. So if you actually want to improve someones health/wellbeing or make them loose weight its just the opposite of what you want to do.
