Very few would claim to have a similar life expereicne, because it truly is one that writes like a movie script. From fighting for an independent Mozambique to transforming it's education system to becoming the women alongside two powerful African leaders, Graca Machel's life has been dedicated to making impact. At the centre of her work and even through her Trust, Mrs Machel has championed the women agenda across the continent, once saying “The secret of overcoming Africa’s developmental issues lies on transforming the fates of its women." I sat down with her during her visit to the country to discuss her legacy and her continued work in Women's economic empowerment.
