I discovered this show by accident on BBC and fell in love with the characters. It broke my heart when Aidan and Russell left. Lenora did a great job with the other actors. Overall, the show was great with great actors and writing and I truly enjoyed it.
I really don't like supernatural stuff about vampires and such, but I started watching this purely for Aidan Turner some years ago. I'm still so incredibly happy that I did watch it. I think it's one of the very best series ever! I love it so very much, even more watching it for the fourth time!
I've discovered the show two months ago and I love the characters, the script, the music... It's great the chemistry between them and the evolution, when the series is darker and darker. The flashbacks are wondeful and the scenes between Annie, George and Mitchel at the house absolutely brilliant. I am addicted now.
They all look great! The chemistry is still there (L&A, particularly). Why isn't Aidan a huge star right now? I thought he'd be the next Orlando Bloom or Benedict Cumberbatch (sp?) before he was Oscar-nominated BC. Oh, well. Best to them all. It was great to see the three together again!
I think if he went to hollywood, they will emasculate him,. I have seen great actors go to HW and all the sudden they are doing things, they aren't comfortable doing. Hollywood is not for everybody.
Aidan was on break from filming Being Human when he was in the series Desperate Romantics. His actual first TV series was "The Clinic" which for some reason he always fails to mention, lol.
