I absolutely hated Spencer years ago especially during that total car crash that was his relationship with louise and then Lucy but I have to say he has grown up and hes very good with kids.

'When I grow up I want to be Spencer Matthews' poor kid... Also, last time I checked fairy princess wasn't a career path. I wish we encouraged young girls to aspire to be athletes and lawyers and entrepreneurs rather than flowery princesses

The point I was making was about the gender imbalance ie. little girls playing with fairy princess barbies and boys playing with tanks and swords and shit, not the imagination. I would encourage children to live in their imaginations, that's what childhood is for!

Or we could just let kids be kids, and people be people, it's not just entrepreneurs and lawyers needed to make the world function. If a girl wants to be 'girly' let her get on with it, same if a dude wants to be into 'girly' stuff.

Spencer is intelligent and has a good sense of ethics. He's just really insecure - and hence rests on the bad-boy persona. He cited both Andy and Caggie as exemplary people, and neither of them, especially Andy, care what people think of them and have genuine confidence and it's why he'll never be of the calibre of people they are. Shame really, as he is smart enough. He's just not confident enough.
