Filmaker Sean Hall was commissioned to document the Remembering Together Stirling project throughout the year. We wanted this to be an artwork in itself- a poetic film journey exploring connections between nature, places and people, as the seasons turned and the project unfolded.
Sean says:
'Something which has become apparent for me in the making of this film is how deeply our sense of time is connected to our environment, how rooted in its colours, movements, and textures; shadows on green grass in summer sunshine, pink blossoms scattered down your street, winter light falling on a familiar hill in the distance. In the film there’s a balance between these images of seasons and people engaging with them through the Remembering Together Stirling project, and the result is something which feels almost timeless and familiar - something which could, maybe, feel a little like remembering. It was a pleasure to play a small role in capturing a sense of this project, and I hope you enjoy the film.'
