Godrick may not be the hardest or even the most mechanically intense boss fromsoft has ever made but his fight has so much atmosphere and feels so epic. That phase 2 cutscene is also some of the most Miyasaki shit I have ever seen

Godrick is probably one of the coolest boss concepts i’ve seen in a soulslike game.

The moment Godrick take out that dragon head i was like "Fire tornado, make a fire tornado" and I was not disapoint

From someone who has played everyone From Software game since Demon Souls, this game feels so different, and it feels good. I was not really hyped for the game going in, planned to play it during the weekend or something, and I friend convinced me to try co-op with him and I went from 0 to 100 with hype over the course of the first 2-3 hours of roaming around. If you ever wanted Breath of the Wild but with a Souls like skin over it, that is what this feels like, and that is not a bad thing to me.

I beat Godrick two days ago. Asmingold’s face during the whole of the transition to phase two of Godricks fight makes anyone so gleefully happy. It’s so good

Also, that particular crucible knight the first one, I had a real tough time with. It took me about 12 trys to beat him.

Second phase Godrick can be summed up as “metal as fuck”

The Bloodhound’s fang is awesome. It was my weapon of choice through the beginning of my first playthrough

I feel like limgrave was the best zone. Partly because everything is so new, but also there’s so many dungeon’s and there’s stuff concentrated around every turn.

Nothing beats watching Asmon actually enjoy a game. Looks fun too.

Interesting thing imo is that Asmon has this character that is a guy that is really confidend in himself but kinda sucks at games, but at the same time he is really good, comparing Asmon playing this to some other streamers, even so hardcore streamers of the fps genre, that basically just bitch and moan at everything, while Asmon just goes there and works hard and beats shit. Pretty cool.

Think of the bonfire in Sen's Fortress and then remind yourself that Elden Ring is filled with secrets hidden just like that Bonfire.

i started watching asmon seriously when he started ds1 and the amount that hes improved in terms of watchability in these games is amazing, amd having mconnnel there makes it just that much better

This is one of those games I wish I could play for the first time over and over. Soooo fuckin good.

I used the rusty anchor all the way up until Altus plateau. It does not suck at all, I think it's highly underrated. Also it looks sick hitting someone with the anchor. The stagger on it is nuts. I beat Margit, renalla, red wold of radagon and Godrick first try with that thing. I don't use any magic or even ashes and it was honestly not hard. I have a harder time with the multiple boss fights like the 3 putrid chrystallians.

Love the vid, FYI if you throw a prism stone you'll know if you can survive a fall (if it brakes you'll die)

At the 6:00 mark, there is a dungeon that does require you to jump down the hole after raising the lift. It took me forever to figure it out. Asmon was truly ahead of his time here.
