The views from Beinn a' Chlachair, Geal Chàrn, and Creag Pitridh are truly breathtaking. Your video captures the stunning landscape wonderfully. It’s amazing to see such majestic scenery. Enjoy your Sunday!
I have just come across your channel and I really like it. I like the way you let the images speak for themselves. You had great weather for this walk, an area I have yet to visit.
Nice one Andy, when myself & Paul did them we got similar conditions. I thought the cycle up to the loch was beautiful and we took our bikes much further up. The loch looked so lovely and calm. Nice edit as always Andy ATB Frank
Cheers Frank. Yeah, it's a beautiful spot by the loch, and nice timing to catch the sun coming up when I arrived. I thought the ford, where you guys left your bikes, was a lovely spot too.
Great day for it andy this was a great walk the path up to the first wasn't the best from what I remember, I walked up to the loch wish I had my bike then😅 , but a really enjoyable day out these mountains. Atb Ally 👍
Yeah, the bike was really helpful on the way back. A mostly pathless walk but great on a day like that, wasn't as boggy as I expected, though that might have been due to the dry weather. Cheers.
@@andy-astro Loch a’ Bhealaich Leamhain at the pass is to be dammed, Earba will be the lower reservoir. I’m amazed you haven’t heard of this dismal scheme. ScotGov is 99% guaranteed to approve the plans because they just wave everything through, landscape doesn’t matter to them. Better get up to Loch Fearna (Quoich) next to record that lovely spot for posterity - it’s also potentially on the death list. Have a look at Nick Kempe’s Parkswatch Scotland blog to read all about Earba. You’ll need a stiff drink.
@@andy-astro just a query mate I am backpacking in July to bag a Munro top of Lurg Mhor and may climb either Aonach Buidhe or Faochaig on way back I have watched your video just wondering in your opinion which of these had best views ?
@@andrewkingdom The view down Glen Elchaig on the descent from Aonach Buidhe, near the end of my video, was my favourite from that trip. Not sure what they are like from the Lurg Mhor side.
