After six weeks of navigating the most challenging family circumstances, this trip marks my much-needed return to the wild. Standing at 857 meters, Beinn a' Chrulaiste is a Corbett known for its breathtaking views, though our journey is anything but easy.
We begin our ascent late in the day, battling worsening weather conditions that make filming a true challenge. Despite the adversity, we push on, determined to reach our summit pitch for the night. By morning, the skies clear, unveiling stunning panoramic views that make every step worthwhile. Witness the dramatic transformation from stormy climbs to serene vistas, capturing the essence of resilience and the beauty of nature.
This short overnight camp offers a glimpse into the highs and lows of mountain trekking, giving me a chance to reflect and reset my mental and physical wellbeing in the process.
