I managed to convince myself this was Beinn Dhorain in Sutherland (near Helmsdale) but there we are, now I was in the Grampians. The landscape is a bit softer, more mountainous and more wooded than Sutherland. Nice trip though.

Hiya.... yeah softer terrain and easier on the boots compared to the quartz mountains of Sutherland, assynt.. What is it with you an the weather ??? lol! Jeez that was mental Alan, Only the thunder and lightning was missing. But the views you managed to get were stunning mate, Especially of the Black Mount Munros. Well done for getting the head down and getting on with it, Cheers for this one mate. peter.

Nice 1 Alan , shame about the changing conditions limits the views from there a wee bit which are excellent over Rannoch moor to Ben Nevis . Got a cloud free day there recent - less boggy too . ATB RC
