I think it's a good move, 3 new playables all with unique playstyles is gonna be huge to keep people satisfied for a little while. I stopped playing a couple months ago and started playing passive growth servers on PoT because I was so bored with the state of The Isle. This will definitely bring me back for a good while.

This update seemed small in the beginning, but it’s becoming the biggest update things game has seen Troodon, Venom/poisoning Ceratosaurus Biepeasaurus.

Two of those things aren't coming with 6.5. It's gonna be roughly the same size as previous content updates.

I said it in the last video, I don't know why anyone thought it wouldn't come in 6.5? It was so far in development that it was guaranteed to come with Troodon and when they announced Cerato? They called him a "bonus" not "second" I was all but assured that it Beipi was coming. Bless that it is because OUR FIRST OMNIVORE IS IN! YES!

I think a lot of people didn’t think beipi would come out because there isn’t a lot of places for beipi to live without being eaten by crocs

Because the developers stated multiple times that Beipe would NEED Gateway to be a functional dino, that the rivers in Spiro aren't made for it's playstyle. They made it pretty clear it wouldn't come with 6.5. They've also said that just because a dino is finished, doesn't mean it's releasing. There was nothing to indicate it'd be coming with 6.5.

I thought I had completely given up hope on the isle, but three playable coming is still very exiting to me. Finally a good fucking update. This shows how important dinosaur releases are. I might actually start playing the game again.

I'm really hoping they release this update soon, they shouldn't add on more if they know it's gonna take the update longer to release. Do the 3 playables so everyone can be happy for a while (hopefully long enough until next update).

Wishful thinking, looks like they want Dibble to be next and herbies won't really be coming until Update 7 with Gate. Just makes sense since migration works on that map specifically.

I think they are threatened by Path of Titans. It’s not a perfect game, but we’ve gotten several updates in the last year alone and now are coming. I people in chat talking about how they would only touch the Isle again after an update so I guess since money is being affected, they’re FINALLY making an effort.

they should optimize instead. they could add as many playables as they want, but if you can't run the game it's of no use. 2 updates ago the game ran just fine for me. Now its torture

The new engine will supposedly make it run more smoothly for everyone, at least that's what they stated.

From what they've said Gateway will be an improvement, making FPS more stable (not necessarily higher), and UE5 should improve performance across the board. Sadly both of those won't be coming until at least Update 7, which could be 6+ months away. I agree that server stability and performance should have been bigger priorities in previous updates. Desync and body-lag have been atrocious since at least Update 4.

Honestly? Yea, because people don't understand how fast putting the older dinos is and that the core mechanics not being utterly broken matters. So they are going to have to really sit there and accept that it's just that easy when it comes to Legacy Dino's.

Yeah that's always the big question ⁉️ and I honestly I have no clue and knowing how the isle developers are on info about that, is just a matter of waiting and hoping that it comes out of nowhere, could be tomorrow or next month or 2 months from now 🤷🏽‍♂️
