Thank you so much for being very informative about this luggage. The weight always scares me whenever I pack. I was considering purchasing one of these luggages, but I wasn't sure what size to buy.
Thanks for your review! I was interested in the 29" because I'm planning a 2 week trip to Europe, but seems like this size might be more inconvenient than helpful. Perhaps the 26" or two carry-ons like you said!
I am the person the 29" bag is for haha. I'm constantly having the put my entire life in a bag for extended stays like when I was in college across the entire country or have to move somewhere for at least 6 months. Thanks for the review.
the away check in large weight is 11.06 lb. The away its similar to the 26 and it’s like half a oz lighter if that helps anyone. The beis weight is 11.86 lb hold way more for items but I see it racking up quickly to 50 lbs capacity limit….imagine adding a pair of Jean I’m sure it will spike already to 15 pounds 😢 but you are correct is not an ideal for a person that travel and is concern on weight limit, besides I live in nyc I can’t imagine where I will store that huge luggage in my closet anyways 😮💨
Thanks for the video. I bought all thr Beis luggages last year but haven't checked a bag in yet. I've only done carry on and was nervous about scratches. I'm going to buy the cover lol.
@@xokimtran yes! I bought the cover and traveled with the largest luggage and got it checked in twice. I had it 1/2 to 3/4 filled. Happy to report no breaks or wears on the luggage itself. The cover did protect the luggage as it has black marks and scratches. Happy I got the cover. I'm trying to buy the covers for the other 2 luggages I have, but they are always sold out!
A 29 inch bag would probably benefit someone of a bigger stature than yourself. My brother is 290ish. His clothing is larger and that would probably work for him.
@@xokimtran so do I 😇 and it’s waaay better then the monos carry on btw bc I owe a monos carry on. The monos is smoother on the wheels but the away takes more clothe🫶🏾 Do you have a tote bag that is spacious enough but also is consider a personal tote bag? I was looking into the monos “metro duffel” I need a travel personal bag 😮💨 that it won’t be qualify as a carry on.
@@danielletaylor3810 Thank you for letting me know! I've actually never had any airlines measure the dimensions. What they care most about is weight and that's for international and domestic travel.
So do you think Beis is worth it? It’s nice that they refunded you, but would you repurchased after it being almost unusable after the damage? I was stuck deciding between them and Calpak.
As of right now, I would still recommend it. I have had other luggages break on me and it's from airport personnel handling my stuff too roughly. I do plan on getting the BEIS carry-on and i will check it in to see if it will be damaged again. The hand cushion and the smooth wheels make me want to give the brand another try.
@@katie4996 I got the AWAY carry-on recently and I really did not enjoy that luggage. Don’t know what the hype was all about 🤷♀️ def prefer BEIS to AWAY.
I love the carry-on! I ended up buying four at the beginning of summer. We have definitely put them to the test in the last couple months. My son and I did a 9 day trip to Italy with our carry-ons. Our bags were even checked on one of the flights. I was kind of concerned it would come back a mess since it's beige. Just a couple of scratches that came off with the magic eraser . Then my family of four made a seven day trip to Cancun and 5 days to California. My husband just came back from another five day trip to the west coast. Knock on wood everything has held up beautifully. By the way packing cubes will be your friend especially on longer trips. Kept us all organized. I had a minor issue which customer service resolved expeditiously. I was so impressed.
