I have the same heat pump dryer but the integrated version. I didn’t lock my door when I began a cycle, I just closed the door and selected my program and pressed start. When it starts tumbling the clothes to dry them it’s relatively quiet and smooth, but I’ve noticed with my machine when it eventually builds up heat inside the dryer, when you place your hand over the dryer door, you can feel the heat generating so it can dry the clothes, I can hear an additional noise, which is hard to explain. It’s not a vibration sound because when it rotates the clothes it’s quiet and smooth, but even when the tumbling pauses in between cycles I can hear an electrical sound. It’s just difficult to describe but I feel it might be happening because the machine is now getting hot, whereas in the beginning of the cycle I couldn’t hear it. I will register it tomorrow and speak with Beko to confirm this electrical sound is normal. Other than that it’s doing it’s job, and I’m waiting for the cycle to finish to see how dry the clothes turn out, watching my smart meter to see how much cost I’m saving, compared to my previous tumble dryer.
Actually, since these are heatpump dryers, they work thanks to a compressor inside of them which makes sure the air inside gets warm or even hotter depending on the cycle you're using. That buzz - like sound is made by the compressor, so it is completely normal.
Beko are overrated in the uk I have the washer version of that it’s okay to be honest got it 2 months ago my old one was a washer dryer combo which was AMAZING
Worst dryer I have ever bought. Tried all the settings even the extra dry 3hrs. Curry's engineer looked it over and said it was okay. Never really dries my washing. Bloody useless dryer.
