Because she is from the void and a lot of void champions are outdated, she gives a lot of background information about them which I will always appreciate.
What I find interesting about Bel'Veth's direct quotes to the void champs (cho, kha, kog, rek) is that it now hints that rather than them being agents of the watchers, they have become (more or less) independent beings who exist to fulfil their own wants and desires. It's like a parent left their kids unattended at a park and the kids are now running around doing anything they can think of. Then you have the oldest sibling Vel'Koz who follows what his parents say and the rebellious younger sibling (Bel'Veth) who wants to watch it all burn. At least that's how I'm going to look at it from now on.
well, if you think about it vel does not really follow the void, the void only cares about distruction while vel wants to learn about everything then destroy it all
@@d4s0n282 some of that confusion might be v and b right next to each other on keyboard also I think vel isn't even fully working for the void anymore because he was supposed to go back to them or something to show some of what he has learned but he has not done that or maybe I don't remember his lore but that's what I remember
@@durttheelder4035 I also dont remember about reading his lore but like... it sounds like he is only doing this to make it easier for the void to conquest, although I would think it would be cool for him to fully betay him for knowage would 100% see him making a deal with someone to betray them to leanr more
Mixed opinion. The issue with asol is that he is TOO important in terms of the void lore. So adding him would most likely result in the end of the void story line. And I highly doubt they'd do that
@@WhiskeyNColaow He will be getting an actual rework called a Conservative Gameplay Update (CGU). His visuals will remain untouched, for the most part, but his kit is getting completely replaced and will be reimagined.
@@luizhenrique4967 To me if she does succeed she will just end up where she is now just the new will wanna replace the old and the cycle will continue with more emotions you'll lose reasoning so over time her clairvoyant insight will be clouded be foreign concepts to her like hopes, dreams, and love
Theory, Kog'maw is similar to a bug in its larval state one day after enough eating, Kog will enter metamorphosis and become a continental threat since Bel'veth expects so much
Rek’sai has evolved from a mindless void to basically an actual animal with breeding habits. She’s alive and acts like a product of reality more than a voidborn
I think Aurelion Sol's Scourge is supposed to be a recreation of the actual Baron Nashor. When it's summoned he says "A familiar face for you Runeterrans", which implies that Runeterrans have already had plenty of encounters with Baron Nashor.
LoR has so many things in it that can't be canon, that I don't think its wise to view that game as canon overall. There are a few exceptions, like Renekton's followers, but that is only because he has a story about them on Universe
@@oplystTV They really did, but then they added cards into the game that can't be canon, like for example how they depicted Nami in her cards. It technically should be canon, but the game cannot be canon because of gameplay reasons, I mean, if Aatrox was put inside LoR, then he would need followers as well, which is not possible, because it contradicts with his lore
@@tamas9554 or like necrit already pointed out with the Petricite statues that shouldn't exist since the only one who could make something like that was the guy who made galio, but since he's dead it shouldn't be possible, as said.
I like to think Cho is Endgame level threat to Runeterra, created for his hunger to be endless and to not stop growing. When they rework him, in like ten years, I hope they turn him into the most evil thing in the void
I Agree, I hope we get a update on him, cus what we do have makes him sound like more powerful the the watchers, since he grows and evolves way faster then any other voidborn, and its interesting seeing him being pretty much pure void, why did reality never corrupt him?
@@opportunity3278 bruh, why would he have immunity? there is 0 reason for him to have immunity over any of the other voidborns, maybe he was like the original void? or something like that?
@@d4s0n282 i wouldn't know man, the void to me at least seems like a virus that mutates and adapts, if we consider earth a human body and the void as a cancer or virus, maybe cho gath gained a mutation that made him so. Or its just riot doesnt have enough lore for him lmao
@@opportunity3278 well, for whatever reason, I cant wait for them to explane why cho is not changed or corrupted by reality, a really interesting idea is that chogath was the first voidling or maybe he was always there, idk
I love the interaction with Viego - it has potential for the future about bringing the powerful ruin king to her side by manipulating his love for Isolde and whether he would be foolish enough to be manipulated a second time...
@@garou9914 Kog’maw was on the last VGU poll (along champs like Shyv and Nocturne, which is really weird imo), meaning they’re at least considering doing something with him.
@@OakenTome kog is a mess. He has no lore, barley played because his kit is trash. He needs it more than cho'gath if you ask me. At least cho is playable.
5:38 one day riot kinda try to link kog’maw and the nashor, maybe she is teasing the fact that kog can turn into a powerful nashor. Maybe teasing what they have in mind for a kog maw rework ( he was in the poll next to udyr after all)
will you cover the new annie short story as well? it has some really interesting lore details and I think many people would love to see your take and thoughts on it :)
I feel Kog’Maw might be on Bel’Veth’s side, since the bio states he was summoned once Bel’Veth first spoke to Malzahar, and Kog’Maw started to look for him
this has nothing to do with the lore of bel'veth but i deeply appreciate how riot hired an indian woman to voice her, as shurima takes various influences from the middle east and india and as bel'veth is the memories of a lost shuriman city, it's a nice detail to have an indian woman voice her and speak in her accent as it ties her to the city and region from which she was conceived.
You missed "You witness the end Malzahar, now see the beginning" This is real interesting, becouse fo Malzahar there is no new beginning, there should only be an end
just wanna quickly give this thought some room to maybe develope we're most likely gonna get an event where we not only have to resist the void but Bel'Veth as well. Considering no one we know is really capable of defeating the void, neither the watchers nor other voidborn, I think we'll have to use the watchers to get rid of Bel'Veth. (I know the asendet and Aurelion might have the power to do so but that'd be kinda boring) Now here me out. Kai'sa is gonna try to fight but as we've seen in the cinematic and the following story even her void suit stands no chance against Bel'Veth. She's consumed too much and knows too much not just about the void but humanity and existence as well. No mortal force Runterra can muster will have the strength to defeat her. Yet there are forces that's aren't mortal that can help and have been stated as possible event related characters in a previous video. Bard of course and Zilean come to mind. Considering Zilean has trapped himself and his followers outside of time and Bard is basically cosmic force that can influence time as well, the two might be able to work together and trap either the watchers outside of time so they can sleep forever again, or banish Bel'Veth into this realm to have her own little reality where she'd be unable to consume anything of Runterra anymore. In case of the first thought we'd still have to deal with Bel'Veth tho. But I do think that if we manage to lure the watchers to Bel'Veth they might destroy her considering she's trying to overthrow them and no longer is of use to them. So that we have our enemy destroy the other enemy and then banish them out of time in order not to loose Runterra. The other voidborn might also get involved, yet I don't think any of them are gonna get destroyed or thrown into a time prison. They might assist us and in the end resume to live their life of consumption and learning, to become more and more like creatures that already existed. Filled with emotions and working their way gradually into the existing ecosystem. I know this has little to do with what's been shown in the cinematic where we've seen forces across Runterra prepare to fight, yet I think they could be packed into the story quite easily. Orns forging might be able to withstand the power of the void for a little or can be used as a bait, and the Aspecs on Targon might offer some help as well. How Kai'Sa handled things we've kinda already seen. Just my thoughts that came to mind after getting to know Bel'Veth a bit better.
"terror coming" may be referin to cho'gath, he is "the terror of the void" after all and curiously kog'maw and cho'gath share the same trait of hunger and eating, every voidborn "consumes" to evolve but kog'maw and cho'gath specifically "eat" just because they are hungry, maybe kog'maw is a spawn of cho'gath trying to eat like his dad. but cho'gath is strange because he hates the sun and has an enfasis on him being scary leaning on "the terror" of his tittle, almost like cho was a nightmare himself, maybe a rework is comming and cho gets changed to be a voidborn trying to mimic a demon using data from other demons and given how fiddle or "fear" is the root of their existence, cho'gath might be born to eat fear like demons and when time comes eat demons themselves and other life forms to grow phisicaly and become more scary overtime, but if the watchers destroy existence then cho will have nothing to eat
Imagine if Kog'Maw ends up as a butterfly of moth at some point. He does kinda have the shape of a caterpillar, so I could see it happening if he ever gets a VGU.
I don't know if it will be a butterfly, considering that Belveth calls it the mouth of the abyss, maybe when they rework it, it would transform into a giant baron nashor or some kind of worm with a giant mouth
@@franciscoOrellana29 still i feel the butterfl/moth thing will be present the viod is an cluster pf things so it can be more than just moth maybe it be a creature with wings yet have pinchers
1:02 I think she doesnt want to say that he "hungers" but more trying to convince him that if the watchers destroy all of existence, like they want to, there would be nothing for cho gath left to eat
GP cant do shit. True threats are Void and A Sol. After that huge armies like Mordekaiser and Viego, and then the 5 darkins. But whats the deal with Thresh? He aint anything major.
Very true, now that you mention it, I will make a prediction: The next big event, after the one that comes now, will be a battle between Mordekaiser and Thresh in some way.
Jesus why gey so triggered about "gp" i just put him, bcs he still being a problem, but for bilgewater and also bcs i am playing ruined king and had him on mind, chill
He was in the game since it’s birth. 2 icons, no ward, no legendary skin, no lore, 2 emotes (really 1), I was just excited to see the new “farm champs not camps” token has his face on it, and I wear it proudly. When will our silly little guy get some true and well deserved love?
i dont think bel veth is planning too kill cha six given that he is ¨kinda doing the same as her just on a smaller scale he wil someday become a part of the lavender sea
It isn't that she needs to eat the world to fight the watchers, but that she knows she can't fight the watchers alone, and that if runeterra don't stop them there won't be anything left for her to eat. Also the watchers want to get rid of everything- including the void.
I will predict how they will defeat her. She will be overwhelmed by the emotions and the determination of her enemies and will turn good and stop the watchers herself, maybe sacrifice herself in the process.
Bel'veth is already so super overpowered based on her story (which she shouldn't be), that the only way she can be stopped is if she is killed by the Watchers, or kills herself. Because Bel'veth isn't just the voidborn, she is the part of the Void itself that wants to be alive
She will bitch slap the watchers to death and the realise that what she's doing is fucked up so she'll try to actully create something on her own without mukbanging something from exsistence, who knows maybe she makes the void good
assuming void Creatures follow some targonian rules like aspects but they are basically primeval concepts... That would make Cho'Gath the Void's Concept of Hunger.... which then is shared since Kog'Maw is basically also about "Eating stuff" at least from his own voice lines
I feel like the void change comes from people summoning void creatures not existence coming into thing, like I don't doubt got the void was altered sure. But like the line, about not wanting anything, and it was thrust upon them comes from summoning and Bucking them here
I don't know if anyone else noticed it, but the quote towards Kassadin at 4:54 makes me think that maybe Bel'Veth ate some of Kassadin's memories when they went against each other and that is why he is a bit crazy; that would be why Bel'Veth is also now stubborn and brave (it may also explain why she wants Kai'Sa on her side, since a small part of her likes Kai'Sa).
Shaco was in the game since it’s birth. 2 icons, no ward, no legendary skin, no lore, 2 new emotes (really 1), I was just excited to see the new “farm champs not camps” token has his face on it, and I wear it proudly. When will our silly little guy get some true and well deserved love? At least give me statikk shiv back…
Idk why but I had a fun little imagination that somewhere in the very very far future an enemy of unbelievable power will threaten all of existence (maybe the watchers) to where the heroes brings back the massive enemies of runeterra such as Viego, Bel'veth, The Darkhin etc all gather together to fight this greater threat
@@xenotyphon if ima be honest I think morde realistically would help the watchers, since he owns his own reality, he does not care about the real reality, thus its a enemy of my enemy is my friend thinbg
SO the void was simply absence, but since existence touched it, it became hunger? So like if there is no light there is no dark. So both reality and void are eating away at each other imo.
