The slightly higher hitching point is a significant factor in the success of the Belarus pulling the JD here. The true test would be clevis hitch to clevis hitch I think🤔? Also why did the Belarus driver not engage the differential lock? I owned two Belarus tractors they were good for traction.
@@bekabeka71 certainly on a power:consumption basis the JD is better, but I think the Belarus is still pretty efficient. On the design, build quality and reliability and operator comfort the JD is in a different league. The Belarus / MTZ has its place in some farming areas where basic old fashioned design and ease of operator repair/maintenance are important factors. However they are not able for heavy mounted equipment that is standard now in so many markets. Operator comfort, reliability, efficiency and lifetime productivity are the important factors in purchasing decisions.
