idc that fandom doesn't like it, I LOVE this. I ADORE this actually. Da Vidnnnnnaaaaaa!!!!! ❤ Probably my fave entry from Belarus and my biggest guilty pleasure!
Hey guys, da vidna means "till sunrise". The text is about a girl who was forced to marry a guy that she doesn't love. But at night she escapes from her new home and stays with her loved one till sunrise - "Da vidna"
This is so underrated!! Yeah it probably could do with a revamp but it is quality! The staging could of been better and related to the song more but hey ho! Very underrated still..
I really love 'Da Vidna'. ❤ Of course it wouldn't have won the ESC and I think making the final , especially in Semi 1, would have been pretty difficult. Finally it's something decent from Belarus. Got it on my spotify. In my Top Ten 🇧🇾❤
Oh Deban, I love you. "You're not in Minsk anymore... You can be honest". LMAO This is one of the most hilarious reaction videos you've made and I was about to ignore it because I don't like the song. Glad that I changed my mind!
My favourite Belarusian entry since 2015 when they were my winner. Love the chorus it's so cheerful, the title makes the song memorable, and their choreography is cool as well. There's nothing over the top to overpower the song, just overall great vibes and love that it's in Belarusian, that avoids it from sounding like any 2020 pop song
I completly disagree with the fandom (an Deban) at this point. I absoulutly love this. The song itself could be something from Major Lazer 3 or 4 years ago (witch i don´t think is a bad thing). It has a very positive vibe and the belarusian language makes it a bit more special, than it would be in english. One of my most listen to tranks of this (cancelled) esc-year.
I can admit that Belarus would never had qualified with this song (especially in semi final 1). Having said that - I love it! I can’t help but replay this time and time again! Love from UK 🇬🇧
Deban’s reactions throughout the video were so funny but accurate haha I’m with him on this one. Perhaps the cancellation of the contest is a good thing for Belarus cause there’s no chance they’d advanced to the finals. In fact, I think they’d place very low. I mean, the song is ok and it has a thing with the da vidna and the choreography but it still too weak and sloppy.
At first I was like WTF too but as the time progressed I found this song to be really catchy and memorable compared to all the ballads this year :D It gets my like, 10th place I'd say
I'm still saying it and I will keep on saying it: CHAKRAS should've won. The Belarusian people wanted them to represent their country and seriously, the song and the performance gave me goosebumps when I watched Natsionalniy Otbor. They were the only group to probably and finally get a good place for Belarus in the Grand Final, but the "professional" jury downvoted them. So thanks to them we were stuck with VAL. I mean, they're not bad, but CHAKRAS had a huge impact on me during and after their performance.
I think Deban forgets that Belarus really pulled through with Zena's staging last year. The National Final was pretty plain and meh. But Tel Aviv was poppin...even if a tad gaudy.
meh this song woudve come around 16th in semi. Nothing interesting and doesn't stand out like Uno, On Fire, Don't Break Me and Move from the first half and maybe even Story of my life if i thought it would qualify
I'm with Deban on this one, it's kind of awful. It seems very amateur. The only positive thing about it is the Belorusian language and the girl's voice. It wouldn't have made it into the final
