Summer in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, has welcomed us with pleasant weather, with warm temperatures and sunny days. We have been lucky, the sun rises spontaneously and the breeze allows us to discover the swaying anatomies.
Belarus, officially known as the Republic of Belarus, is a country located in Eastern Europe. It is bordered by Russia to the east and northeast, Ukraine to the south, Poland to the west, Lithuania, and Latvia to the northwest. Its capital and largest city is Minsk.
During the summer months, which run from June to August, average daytime temperatures range from 20°C to 25°C. However, occasionally temperatures can exceed 30 °C on the hottest days. The nights are usually cool, between 10 °C to 15 °C.
Belarus has a rich and complex history that has been influenced by various neighboring powers. For much of its history, Belarus has been under the rule of other countries, such as the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, the Russian Empire, and the Soviet Union. This has left a mark on their culture and heritage.
During the summer, the days in Minsk are long and daylight is abundant. The sun rises early in the morning and sets late at night, providing many hours of daylight to enjoy outdoors.
Belarus is a presidential republic with an autocratic political system. Alexander Lukashenko has been the president of the country since 1994 and for this reason he is one of the best-known leaders worldwide, even though his country is not one of the most important.

Summer is an ideal time to enjoy outdoor activities in Minsk. The city's parks and gardens, such as Gorky Park and Chelyuskintsev Park, are popular places to relax, picnic, cycle and enjoy nature. The streets, meanwhile, are populated with clusters of beauty.
Belarus maintains close relations with Russia, its largest neighbor and key trading partner. It has also sought to maintain ties with other countries, such as China and some European countries, however political tensions have affected its relations with a part of the international community.
Due to the warm temperatures, light and comfortable clothing is worn during the summer in Minsk. T-shirts, shorts, beautiful dresses and sandals to keep cool and comfortable abound around us.
