Anna is a really beautiful horse. Why would anyone NOT take care of her. Some people do not deserve to have animals. It makes me so angry and I don't do angry! Bless you for giving her a healthy retirement home!❤
It warms my heart to see these beautiful creatures that are now safe in your care where they are being loved, cared for and can live out their lives. I find it so heart breaking knowing that people are capable of disposing of an animal that has given its all by working hard his/her entire life only to be send to the kill pen when they are getting old and no longer can do what they used to. Thank you for keeping us updated and letting us see how happy and well cared for these animals are at your place, may God richly bless you! 😊❤️
❣💯 Julie, thank you and Cory big time for saving sweet Anna from the kill pen. She probably has PTSD from all the torture. Your kindness in showing her how to navigate the fence to return back to home base is restoring her trust of humans. The ranking system of the horses leaving the paddock to enter the pasture shows Anna as the caboose. She is part of the herd is the good news and that her pain is remediated. When my knees hurt, it can sadden the day. Seeing her recovery is very heartwarming, Julie! You're doing a great job with your 4-legged children. Kudos to you and your family! Thanks for this update on Anna and the herd. Watching all horses go to the pasture and later below the cloudy sky was really great. In this world full of violence, cruelty and scary headlines about crimes and wars it is so precious to watch your clips of a peaceful place where peace and love rule. You did good by him and it showed. No animals should be miss treated. The group these horses came from that work them to death , then send them to slaughter is sad. This is a shame, but that’s what they do to all their animals. Thank you for helping them and giving them the retirement that they deserve. ❤ grandpa was another one. He knew he was loved by you. You are so kind…I think they look like they move in slow motion too. Then you get around the donkeys and it’s like yet, they do move in slow motion. But when they want to kick eachother they move pretty quickly

Anna’s such a beautiful girl and I still can’t understand how anyone could be so neglectful of these gentle giants. She has come such a long way and I often wonder if they remember how there lives were before they were rescued. It’s nice seeing them all together and it was nice seeing Maddison again. Our little colt who was born the day before her is growing so fast and he’s started getting up to a bit mischief lately. He sneaks behind you and tries to bite but in a playful way. The trouble is he’s getting bigger all the time and he’s so strong. It is funny to watch though 😁. Thank you for the update. I always look forward to see what’s happen on the farm 😊
I believe every human infant or toddler, and every animal whether wild or domestic Remebers the abuse , neglect and cruelty they experienced. The thing about animals is they hide their trauma, humans not so much. Humans reexperience trauma in all sorts of ways, and so do animals. Animals don't forget trauma, but they don't allow it to affectiively stop them from their future , humans can drown in te pain and cruelty inflicted on them as children. Animals can experience problems with their own kind, just like humans if they were traumatized. But animals are braver than humans who are abused. They will if given the free will to do so, most always accept a human who is kind to them, even when it was another human that inflicted the pain and abuse. This is not the case of humans who are abused.
All your horsey stuff is so interesting thank you. I love the big draft horses you’re so kindly saving from a horrid ugly end to their tough working lives. Well done you! Watching them all Wandering around the pasture at their own speed is so cool. Anna looks amazing! I remember watching as Kory brought her home and just how sad and skinny, she was. Now you can see how full of life she is. Madison sure is getting bigger fast and so adorable with her markings. And my favorite Charlie,🐴 he was just trying to share his food with his mom 🤣 Can't wait for Dax update, I have been curious how he has been doing. Im Sure he is doing great, he now has a family who loves him.

Like others, I was shocked all over again to see the terrible state Anna was in originally and the transition to how she looks today is wonderful. It’s all thanks to you and yours for being so big hearted. Funny that she doesn’t like the camera 😊 my dog is the same. What a funny domino effect as they were filing through the gate and one got bitchy so they passed it on down the line 😂 I look forward to your videos so much. I live in New Zealand so it’s rare that we see pasture so dry, mid summer maybe. Do you have green growth or is that typical? How content she looked when you groomed her. And boy is she bossy with the other animals 😂 They for sure live the perfect life with you. To see them strolling around in the big pasture - with knowing what they went through - it’s so, so amazing! And honestly it looks like a postcard with the colors and the beautiful skies in the background. It’s so nice to see horses do what horses do - and not what we Humans want them to do. Awe, thank you for the kind words! Charlie, Freya and Miley we have ridden but we don't do it all the time. Most of the other horses have arthritis and we definitely wouldn't try to ride them.

That is Cami…she has a arthritis in her pastern bone. She goes every 6 months to get a steroid injection and takes meds for the pain and inflammation. Don’t let her fool you…she can move when she wants to! 🤣
I am wondering if Anna is a bit younger that initially considered. The reason I say this is because she recovered quickly. She is looking really healthy. Props to your care. I just had a thought. Have you considered breeding one of the mares? I realize that for most of the ladies this ship has sailed but I am not convinced this is the case for Anna. I don’t know. Just a thought...😁
What part of the USA is this? Does it ever go green? It looks so desolate and flat. Is there any nutrition in those dry grasses sparsely growing on this land? I'm British so this landscape is very alien for me.
