The movie Max premiered in theatres in June of 2015, many Belgian Malinois breeders, dog trainers and dog enthusiasts are concerned after seeing a large increase in the breed. The concern is real. Look at the overpopulation in shelters after the movies 101 Dalmatians, Beethoven, Marmaduke came out. If you go to see this movie, please consider loving the breed from the comfort of your own home by watching youtube videos, not by owning one. This breed requires a massive amount of training, physical stimulation and socialization to be balanced. This is not the dog to own if you like to hike on the weekends. It's a 24/7 dog that is far too much animal for most homes. Please be responsible if you decide to own a Belgian Malinois. Thanks for watching!
