Your comment about station Bruxelles midi is totally valid, locals often say that this station is the worst in Brussels hahaha However it’s not the central station, the central station is near the Mont des arts. Central station and around rue neuve are in my opinion, more likable area for a hotels and safer, if I can say. Btw I’m sure that if you have talk in German, they’ll probably look at you in a weird way ahahah

I'd say to some aspects ahhaa. Oh no, OMG. I misspoke but when I said that, I wasn't referring to your appearance but more to the political/geographical aspect of the country. German in Brussels, they probably wouldn't have understood or would have confused it with Dutch. And even then, Dutch isn't often used by the people of Brussels. Sorry again for the misunderstanding.
