Thank you for posting this. I can barely type this. The tears are so much. This was the song for my daughters first Christmas at Disneyland. She cried at the end as the snow came down on main street. She was so happy. As her dad, I am a single dad and poor but scrimp and save to try and make her so happy she cries. I live for that. She's 19 now and still remembers that. So the remember the magic song and the I'm dreaming song are real emotional ones for us. I'm not a good dad, but I tried.
Annnnd now I'm tearing up. I'm 22, so I'm not much older than your daughter, but I'm still so, so, so happy that you were able to share that magical moment with her at The Happiest Place on Earth. Moments like these are why Walt created Disneyland in the first place; so parents and children can have fun, together. You're an amazing dad in my book!
ddc163264 You do your best, that’s all that matters and it’s what makes you an amazing dad, I’m a single dad to and what we do for our daughters is all that will ever matter!
I know it isn't as happy or sad as some of these stories. But this song raised me, I'm 17 now about to head to college but my dad started a dancing Christmas light display and this was the first song. It's been on it sense I was 3. Now I am lead programmer having to redo it. But this is the most relaxing song ever. It sounds like my childhood.
This brings tears to my eyes! I’ve been to disneyland over 350 times and live in Chandler Arizona. This is the first time in 18 years that we are not at disneyland for the Christmas season. My heart is broken but this video is on constant repeat in my house and car so I can have that little bit of Disney magic feeling. ESPECIALLY during my favorite part which is the ending when it snows. I miss disneyland, it’s such a part of my life! I’m a Disney podcast radio show host and live and bleed Disney. With disneyland no opening date in sight, we have booked a week trip to WDW and while we’re there take our 8th Disney cruise. I miss the Disney magic and pray that Disney will open soon.
I remembered this as a toddler.Of course I cried too, but I've never knew that this place was the Happiest place on Earth till I went there and saw these fireworks and how Disney sets up a huge amount of decoration. This fulfills my heart overgrowing joy and I want to remember this as a huge memory. I love this and keep this song in my history forever.
This is my second favorite fireworks show at Disneyland (after the 50th fireworks). Combining Disney with Christmas makes this so magical. For years, my mom and I would only stay to see the first Winter castle transformation, but would leave before the fireworks. Now that we have both moved away from Orange County, I begged her last year to stay for the fireworks. I'm so glad we did! 😍
I desperately wish I could be there, but I’m still stuck in Georgia until next February I’m moving back home to California but it can’t come soon enough
So beautiful and often bordering on perfection, I would listen to this CD during work breaks. One very powerful orchestra, they are not given much credit on the sleeve. But they play beautifully! 4:14 killer arranging!
In case anybody's interested, here's the lyrics to sing along: Spoken Intro: Does your heart hold the magic of the holidays? Is it filled with warm memories, just waiting to be discovered again? Well, now is the time to open your heart and believe in that magic, and remember those treasured moments. Oh, they're still there, deep within you, waiting to touch you once more. So come along as the magic of the season leads the way! Can you remember How Christmas makes you feel That special magic in the air And all your dreams were real Can you remember The smell of ginger bread Candy canes and sugar plums That dance inside your head Remember when the twinkling stars at night Told you reindeer were in flight And jolly Santa Claus was on his way The warmth of candle glow A kiss of mistletoe And magic lives and we believe It's in our hearts to stay Remember the caring A season worth sharing Believe in the magic in our lives Just open up your heart And relive the feeling Just remember the magic Yes, remember the magic One more time Treasure it again (Remember) It never has to end (Joy of sharing) Remember the magic in our lives (Remember the magic) Just open up your heart Embrace all those feelings Just remember the meaning (Remember) Yes, remember the feeling (Remember) For all time For all time Spoken: Cherish the holidays forever, and always Believe! I’m dreaming of a white Christmas Just like the ones I used to know Where the tree tops glisten And children listen To hear sleigh bells in the snow, oh, the snow I'm dreaming of a white Christmas With every Christmas card I write May your days be merry and bright And may all your Christmas' be white I'm dreaming of a white Christmas With every Christmas card I write May your days be merry and bright And may all your Christmas' be white I’m dreaming, oh, I’m dreaming Mmmm, dreaming, yeah Oooh, I’m dreaming Mmmm, I’m dreaming Of a white Christmas Oh, I’m dreaming Mmmm, dreaming, yeah Of a white Christmas Oh, dreaming
Thank you for posting this! I have the CD somewhere, but I can't find it! LOL!! And I just love the narrator because it reminds me of a grandma sitting down with her grandkids at Christmas time!
Hi and Happy Holidays,Merry Christmas,Happy Hanukkah,Happy Kwanzaa,Fliz Navidad and Happy New Year 2018. Awesome music this so lovely and wonderful good feeling for today.
Thanks for the great audio, perfect for December 1! I love this arrangement of White Christmas. It’s so relaxing and magical. By the way, who is the hostess that opens and ends the show?
Thank you for the kind words, Stephanie; and I agree about "White Christmas"! It's so calming. As far as the hostess, I've been wondering that myself, actually; I looked far and wide for an answer but I couldn't find one. I'm sorry I couldn't be more help! -VJ
@@vdlfamily4171it seems to be a mix of multiple songs. i can hear a faint carol of the bells string melody in the background, then after it transitions to joy to the world. not sure what the main part is though but it sounds so familiar lol
