Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf - We achieve the abundant life by becoming true disciples of Jesus Christ-by following in His ways and engaging in His work. - www.lds.org/general-conferenc... October 2018 General Conference.
I have been so focused on my own grief, depression, and anxiety after losing a loved one recently. I have been working so hard to heal myself. It turns out that in order to heal myself I must help heal others! I am going to start ministering with the intensity of a German Shepherd chasing a ball!
The perfect tutorial on how to cure our own struggles, suffering and sadness. This gives me encouragement to try again and to see those who give me a hard time as real and literal children of God made in His image.
I adore his speeches the most and miss him in the Presidency. I stated that last week but cannot find it. Does anybody know what happens to comments...Am I being paranoid or has my innocent comment really been deleted?
He did actually say once that church sleep was one of the healthiest sleeps so conference talks or general conference sleep must be the best sleep of them all :)
