Belknap missiles are designed to hit the hull of the ship just above the water surface while hamburg missiles are designed to hit above the ship like the javelin does Thats why belknap doesn't do any dmg cuz it always hit some blocking obstacles
I think the spotting system is a bit bugged. Sometimes you can see the whole ship [] in those brackets but you cant lock on target. In other way... Locked target going behind big rock hiding and the target is still locked. And you fire at the ship. Don't understand that.
Engines. You need engines for speed. Torps? Faster. And last thing depth charges. Mines are uselles. Depth charges too... But I think are a bit better. You can always drop them near enemy ship. Kind of surprise. Not visible. IMO🙂
Since you haven't given any reasons then I'll be the one to elaborate first: 1. the Harpoon missiles still need extreme amounts of space to work. 2. Harpoon can't be used in an extreme kiting position, meaning you'll lose 80% of firepower while running away. 3. Minimum range of Harpoon still exists. 4. The sea skimming nature of Harpoon means the enemy can just angle their ship and all of the missiles will hit the belt armour, scoring 0 damage. 5. It's still sluggish at turning so chances are you're not gonna dodge any shells 6. The ship still loses control so easily, you can just slightly tap the con tower and you'll be stuck in a direction for 20 seconds. 7. It still gets set on fire every time you sneeze at it (as in the video). Where as Hamburg can took a full salvo from Yamato and it only loses the engine. 8. There's only 1 cannon and it's mounted at the back, meaning it sucks at close quarters combat. Sure, you have torpedoes, but so does Hamburg. All it has to do is closing in and your Harpoon won't be able to work while also being outgunned Unless Belknap is more than 4-5km of range from Hamburg, it will eat you alive. The only advantage Belknap has is the amount of missiles. This match, if I was in a Hamburg, it would have been over from long ago. So there you go, my reason. What are your reasons?
